We have had some folks ask us if we Own our Section of the Soo Line Trail! The answer to that is Nope, we do not own it. We are just lucky enough to have it run directly through our 2 properties to make it easily accessible to you!
The Section we are on, The Soo Line South, crosses 22 miles through Mille Lacs County, running just south of the Rum River State Forest, Mille Lacs Kathio State Park, Mille Lacs Lake, and Father Hennepin State Park. Following an abandoned railroad grade, it provides a relatively flat ride with gentle, sweeping curves. This Section of the Soo Line South Trail is provided by Mille Lacs County and maintained by the Mille Lacs Drift Skippers Snowmobile/ATV Club.
Our Section also has an asphalted "Bike" lane, but remember, it is an ATV Trail, so be prepared. If you are looking for a super smooth bike ride, we can point you in the right direction. Again, this is an ATV trail, so you'd better be ready for adventure!
For more information and things to do in and around Onamia, come to the office and we'll get you a Scenic Byway Map so you can explore the many things the area has to offer! From State Parks to Casinos, you are never too far away from the adventure of your choice!

Thanks again for making Soo Line Trail/Onamia KOA Journey your Gateway to Adventure!
That doesn't mean this area has to always be empty. When you start reviewing camping options, your history will display here to help compare sites and find the best stay. You will be able to share your stay information with friends or family and save it for a later time if you have a KOA Account.
