We have staying at the Lena KOA for the approximately the past 13 years and we love it here! There are always fun things to do for the kids as well as the adults. I highly recommend the Lena KOA if you're looking for a relaxing/fun vacation spot.

We love the Lena KOA. The cabin we stayed in this year had a great deal of upgrades since we last stay. There are many activities for kids as well as adults. We have stayed at this KOA for over 12 straight years and can't wait to return next year. The owners of the campground and their staff are super friendly. If you're looking for a relaxing-fun place to vacation, than this is the place for you!

We have stayed at KOA for quite a few years now. Always have people willing to go to the max for you. We appreciate that lots. We have stayed on Labor Day weekend a few times now and the auction is a cool way to raise money. We have not been lucky enough to win. I know you can't limit the amount that one person wins, but I guess that this would break it up for more people to win prizes.

As normal it was a great time. Only issues this time were a couple of times toilets were out of order or out of TP. Somewhat expected given the busy weekend.

We stayed in the Tee Pee. It was wonderful. Far better than we expected. Futon is vinyl-encased which eased my fears about bedbugs. 2 Chairs and a coffee table in the Tee Pee as well. Very clean and quiet.

We hold an annual family reunion with over 30 people. We can rent cabins close to each other and those in RV's. Facilities are landscaped beautifully and amenities are nice, including pool and kids play area. Cabins are clean and well maintained.

Very clean and well equipped cabin. Friendly staff at front desk was very helpful. Recommended a biking trail that we wouldn’t have found on our own. Printed out a map which we were able to use to find the trail head of the Jane Addams trail. Great stay and would go back again.

All 4 of us had a great time. Even though it was very hot all 4 days, we were close to the pool so we could cool off. Lena KOA is our go to vacation spot! We will be back!

Cabin was nice except kitchen could use a few more utensils and some dishes. Refrigerator was on the small side but no freezer. Bed wasn't very comfortable and squeezed loudly any time you moved.

We are so glad we chose to stay here we plan on coming back soon Our son had so much fun The only thing I would love to see changed is the time for kids activities we weren't able to check in until 3pm on Saturday so we missed the games and crafts It would be nice to have them a little later in the day for the people who show up on Saturday or even offer them on Sunday too

The campground looks great. The upgrades to the camping areas make a person feel comfortable. I will be back to stay again.

Clean cabin and well maintained grounds. But, the kitchen had very few dishes/silverware and when we reported this, a few salad plates/bowls and 4 forks were provided. The bed was queen sized but very depressed and didn’t bounce back plus it was covered in something VERY noisy. I read the water note but while showering the hot water cut out more than once.

Our cabin site was fantastic with the porch swing, patio pad, and fire pit. The staff was friendly and welcoming as always. The atmosphere is safe, peaceful, and friendly throughout the campground. The wide assortment of activities provided gives our whole family something to do. This was our third stay at the Lena KOA and we consider it one of our family's happy places.

We always have a great time at the Lena KOA. Joe does a great job! Despite the storms that cane through this week and the damage done, our group had another great week. The testament to Joe and the way he treats people was evident by the amount of campers who came out and helped with the clean up. Keep up the great work Joe and family!

Small campground but very clean. I would have loved a hiking trail but only cornfields surrounding the campground.Staff was very accommodating.Pool was immaculate and temperature was perfect. We reserved a large cabin and it was wonderful and quiet. We were right across from the park so very easy to watch the little ones from our porch.We were there Sunday-Tuesday so not much going on for kids

We absolutely loved our stay in the teepee, I’d have given this 5 stars but we were very disappointed no instructions were given as to how to close the “smoke flaps”, and it ended up storming for hours and we had to figure it out ourselves, at night, in the rain.

We were in a deluxe cabin which was so nice. Very clean and convenient. The campground is lovely-so clean. Love al the plants and flowers around. Nice pool and game area for the kids. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We can't wait to come back!

2024 Just wanted to say thank you to Joe and his team for another outstanding stay. One of the best campsites we ever stayed at! Looking forward to the next time.____ 2023 After 5 years of RVing doing about 5 trips a year I have to say this is the best maintained camp site I've been to. Campground and all facilities are very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Pool area and playground. Tent sites. Barrel Train. Activities for kids. Well stocked camp store. Pet friendly. Galena is about 40 minutes away. Other local attractions. If you get the chance check this place out you won't be disappointed.

Go North in the summer and South in the winter, Lena KOA Holiday has been our "North" destination for a few years now. Always clean, always things to do for the kids, good grass space between rv spots. You will not be disappointed!
