On October 14th an annular solar eclipse will cross North, Central and South America. This eclipse will be visible for millions of the people in the Western Hemisphere.
In the U.S. the annular eclipse will start at 9:13 am PDT in Oregon and will last be visible in Texas until 12:03p CDT before moving on to Mexico. All according to NASA .
We are in Mountain Time so about 10:13am we should start to see the Eclipse here at the Falcon KOA. What a great time to be at our camp ground since we have such a beautiful view of the sky in all directions. Its also a great time to get the kids involved and teach them about our solar system.
Did you know: There are between 2 and 5 Solar Eclipses every year. Each visible only in a limited area.
That doesn't mean this area has to always be empty. When you start reviewing camping options, your history will display here to help compare sites and find the best stay. You will be able to share your stay information with friends or family and save it for a later time if you have a KOA Account.
