Tent Sites include a sand pad for comfort. All Tent Sites are located close to our private lake, giving you beautiful views and convenient access to water activities. You can also book RV Sites with Tent Sites, offering more room for big families or groups camping in Fort Collins. Lodging options include two varieties of cabins to give you a level of comfort that suits how you like to stay. Camping Cabins have a log style. They have no kitchen, but include a fire ring and charcoal grill. These cabins also do not have bathrooms, but you get convenient access to nearby bathhouses. Deluxe Cabins include partial kitchens and full bathrooms with showers. Included linens help you save on packing space. For the utmost comfort, reserve a Deluxe Cabin with a private hot tub. RV campers can also experience excellent camping here. Choose between Back-In and Pull-Thru RV Sites with a 75-foot max length to accommodate big rigs. Sites include full hookups, so you can use all your RV's amenities. Upgrade your experience with a private hot tub or a site with a KOA Patio®. Group camping options enable you to plan everything from a family reunion to an outdoor club gathering. An indoor meeting space and outdoor pavilion also make it easy to spend time together. 

An Enjoyable Camping Experience
Campground amenities make your trip more enjoyable. Tent campers and those staying in Camping Cabins can benefit from clean, well-maintained bathhouses that are close to their site, and 24-hour laundry facilities enable all campers to throw in a load whenever they need to. If you want to stock up on the essentials during your Fort Collins camping trip, we have propane and firewood for sale. You can also pick up something to munch on at the snack bar. A seasonal chuckwagon serves breakfast and dinner, so you can grab a meal without cooking or leaving the campground. Stay connected during your camping adventure with Wi-Fi. Cache la Poudre River Canyon

Take 14 West into the mountains off of Highway 287. The Poudre Canyon is a narrow verdant canyon, approximately 40 mi (64 km) long, on the upper Cache la Poudre River (called the "Poudre" for short, which locals pronounce as "Pooder") in Larimer County, Colorado. The canyon is a glacier-formed valley through the foothills of the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains northwest of Fort Collins. The Poudre is Colorado's only nationally designated "wild and scenic" river. Highway 14 is designated a Colorado Scenic and Historic Byway between Fort Collins and Walden. Hiking, picnicking, winter sports, hunting, fishing, whitewater rafting & wildlife viewing await you.

CSU Annual Flower Trial Garden

The outdoor display and test areas at the Annual Flower Trial Garden were established to allow students, researchers, industry representatives, homeowners and extension personnel to learn, teach and evaluate through horticultural research and demonstration projects conducted in the unique environmental conditions of the Rocky Mountain/High Plains region. Garden Hours and Season: The garden is open daily to the public, free of charge. The entire garden is planted with annuals from late May through October. Pansies are planted in the fall and are on display through early spring. The perennial trials are displayed year round across the street in front of the Center for the Arts. You are encouraged to visit and take note of the new varieties being grown and to observe and study the different growth habits, tolerances and visual characteristics of the many different varieties that have been put on display.
