We made a last minute decision to stop in Santa Fe KOA and we’re so glad we did. A single spot (premier w/private dog play area) was last spot available- we hit the jackpot!! Beautiful park, plenty of amenities and extremely friendly staff. Everything was clean and ready to enjoy. We and our dog Bleu wish we had time to stay longer. A beautiful spot close to downtown - an A+++ experience!!

This was absolutely one of the best KOA I have ever stayed at. It was so clean and just perfect. The workers there were very gracious and kind every room was immaculate. Every space was immaculate. Five stars for this Campground. We stay at lots of KOA and nothing else comes close to this one.

This was our first stay at a KOA (or any RV) campground in years and it was such a nice experience. The grounds were well kept (we LOVED the stamped concrete private picnic amenities), the showers/restrooms were spotless, the coffee was hot and the hosts were very friendly beginning with the escort directly to our site. Hey you other sites….the bar is high due to Amarillo! YES, will come back

Sites are very narrow! It would be nice to alternate full site with an empty one! Your park is never too full to give rv more space

We have stayed here many times. Staff is very friendly. Property is very clean. Easy in and out. There is only 1 negative and that is the train noise. Goes on all the time. I know it is not the fault of the property. If your in need of a good night sleep it won’t be here.

The camping facilities/grounds were well kept.However the unprofessionalism of staff is something that I have never experienced at a KOA in all my years of camping.A staff member ordered me to stop at the office to pay a late checkout fee simply because my rig was on their property doing doggy potty prior to departure then follow with your credit card was declined,BS/their system was down.Terrible

We follow policy for all guests. Most importantly, we have zero tolerance for profanity toward any of our team members at this campground.

This is a decent campground. However, there are no trees and spots are gravel. It can get very hot here in the summer. Good campground for a quick overnight stay, but I would not stay here very long. Location is okay.

We have stayed at the Amarillo KOA several times on our cross country trips. The location is close to the interstate and the hosts are friendly and helpful.

Staff was very helpful and very nice. Site itself was in the middle of the very open plain area, with no protection from wind. (we realize they have no control over the weather) The sites are gravel and...soil. Had heavy rains so lots of mud on campers and vehicles. As you turn onto road to site the area is really run down and sketchy but we had no problems. Can't really say it was bad.

BEST KOA EVER! And we stayed 11 days! 1)BATH HOUSE - immaculate, great water pressure, consistent water temperature & 2 bath houses to choose from. The bigger newer one is right across from the pool 2)POOL- pristine, all day sun, open B4 memorial day & was heated with a new heater (which the on site owner offered to turn up the heat at night if it wasn't warm enough, it was) and open till 10 to accommodate late check ins, multi colored lights up at night, lounge chairs and sitting chairs with a covered shelter 3)SERVICE-friendly staff and they golf cart guide to the site 4)LAUNDRY room- change machine, good washers and XL dryers 5) GIFT SHOP/sitting areas-boutique decorated with adorable western theme, seperate dining area with large screen TV and kids toys and free Starbucks keurig, seperate outdoor cute coffee area 6)PLAYGROUND- very nice, kept up and raked with a swing for the adults 7)DOG PARKS (2)- 1 gravel, 1 grass (that is watered and healthy grass) (LOTS of grass all over property for walking pups and a huge grass field with 4 cute dummy hydrants) 8)NOISE LEVEL-complaing reviews WAY exaggerated! Small airport, and you may barely here 1 plane a day, only if you are outside and the train tracks are a mile away. They have a very long privacy fence that acts as a sound barrier and keeps down dust and brush. We slept like babies!9)GROUNDS -they were always doing something, from watering the grass to cleaning the pool, raking park gravel, even saw them wiping down the picnic tables!? Go for the patio site....the extra room has spoiled us!

Nice staff, very clean bathroom. Level site, the only problem we experienced was the mower did not have a deflector on the discharge and he threw a rock at the motor home. Sounded like a bullet hit our motor home. Didn't want to go to them office and throw the mower under the bus as we still were staying another night. Other than that it was a nice stay.
