A true gem of a campground. The sites are level. The lakes and rivers are beautiful and natural. Fish abound. The staff is so very friendly and welcoming. Bathrooms/showers are updated and clean! Make sure you have a pressure regulator because we had almost 90 PSI at our site which is phenomenal. Cannot say enough good things about the experience we had here. This is now our go to stop!

We chose a site on the lake but The site we had was covered in Goose Poop! We couldn’t even enjoy our fire ring for all the droppings. I give the KOA a C-

We like the campground and the site we were in, what we did not like was fighting with the geese to stay out of our site and all the poop they left everywhere. We were required to pick up our dogs poop but we saw your workers just blowing the goose poop and their feathers into the lake making all the banks a mess with the gooses mess. Nasty when u r fishing and you pick up a stick when reeling in.

Enjoyed the stay. Clean and quiet. Would like it better if the store had a few snacks. Two dryers not working. Need a coin machine for laundry.

We loved our stay! The campground is well maintained and the staff is friendly and helpful. The location is perfect - you can stay and relax at the campground or easily travel the many amazing destinations nearby!

After a long day of driving we arrived at a real campground. Lots of trees, a lake, relaxing walking trails and a super site nestled in the trees. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer!

EBIKE was stolen the 1st night from campsite. They said they have no cameras. Police said it happens often.

Intake person was nice. They directed us to our site which was very nice. Location was good for what we were doing. The area was clean.

Our site was a bit small for our 25-ft motorhome. The geese make a mess around the lake, but staff seemed to be doing all they could to clean up after them. The 30-AMP outlet for our site is cracked and needs to be replaced. It was usable, but we thought long and hard before we plugged in. I would attach a photo if I could. We were not too happy about such an important item being in disrepair.

Very nice facility, sites are right on top of each other though. Site assignment by staff was questionable - 40 ft RV with 4 slide outs on a spot with a tree and telephone pole to contend with. Water pressure was not good at all. Put a fence around the maintenance/storage yard or drop the rent, folks spending some time at the facility might like a better view.

Aside from the downpour of rain (which couldn't be helped) We had a wonderful weekend getaway with family and friends that are family. Y'all had so much fun planned for the kids, and we were able to make many cherished memories. The dance party was the best. Can't wait to go back

We had a wonderful time at a spot on the lake and thankfully could extend our visit a couple of days in another site. The bathrooms are spotless, the staff friendly and courteous and just a perfect place at this time of year to escape a heatwave at home. Wish I could live in this spot for 6 months of the year.

We stayed 3 nights in May and enjoyed our time at KOA!! We usually stay at a site on the pond, this time we got a site on the river and LOVED it! The bath house behind the office was extremely clean and the showers were hot with great water pressure. My husband also loved the coffee food truck - the coffee and breakfast foods were delicious. We have plans to return 2 more times this year!

Need security in the evenings and at night please treat the lakes for the lily pads taking over that beautiful lake bathrooms were clean campsites were neat some staff not very friendly questioning about coming back

We enjoy staying at this KOA. For us it is in a convenient location in the Asheville for things we like to do. The bathhouse are nice. They seem to keep them up to date and clean. The staff has always been friendly to us. I've enjoyed being right on the small ponds and have enjoyed fishing in them. There are two ponds with fish. The loop around both ponds is approximately one mile. There is plenty of open space to walk dogs as well. Holiday weekends this KOA fills up. Lots of children. Expect to be patient when driving in and out of the campground most camp goers walk the camp ground roads. Most of the sites are back in only. Which is not a problem for our short trailer. The only negatives I have for this KOA is the dump station. It is hard to get to unless you have a short trailer and a vehicle with a good turning radius or you have to back into or out of the dump station. Some of the sites seem to hold water when it rains, but all the sites we've stayed in have been flat. We have not rented any of the bikes, pedal carts, golf carts or anything like that.
