I took showers at the bath house and ran out of hot water after less than three minutes. This happened every day we were there. (3 days).

Quiet, clean, picturesque park, big rig convenient and close to Asheville, Black Mt and the Harley dealership if you’re renting/riding your own. Staff were very friendly and helpful with an equipped camp store for essentials. Swannanoa is minutes away for other stuff and DT Asheville about 20 mins. Potential…a diamond in the rough. This could be an awesome campground but sites need lots of attention, some are very long and narrow, need to be graded and cleaned up, hook-ups need to be fixed, and the geese are everywhere and leave their poop on the roads, sites, trail, etc. Staff drive around at top speed in their carts. Store items are very over priced. Scenery is fantastic and inviting

The laundry facilities were shameful. Lost some money in one of the 2 dryers that supposedly weren't out of order. It didn't heat up. The unisex bathroom needed a new flush mechanism in the toilet. You could not flush the toilet 2 times in a row without an extensive wait in-between. Sites were very close. On the flip side, staff was very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Ted, he was awesome.

Hands down this is one of the nicest, cleanest campgrounds we've visited. The grounds are well kept, well landscaped even. Very shaded and quiet. Lots of things on site for children to enjoy. We had a full hookup site by the river.

Loved the proximity to the highway. The arrival process was great with an escort to our site. Very dog friendly with great walks around the lakes and river. WiFi was strong. Park was immaculate from showers to the park itself. Office staff was very friendly and helpful Keep up the great work

Loved it!!! We stayed just 2 nights to visit the Biltmore (which was amazing)! The park was adorable and clean and offered many amenities for the whole family. We walked our pup around the lake and loved the river running through the campground. We shall return! �ϸ

We stayed there for a week. We were in the area on business and didn't most of their amenities. Our only complaint was that there were very few pull-thru sites but the back-in sites were okay. some were harder to access due to mature trees. The biggest positive was a very robust wi-Fi system. We had no trouble getting and staying on-line the whole time we were there.

This is a very nice campground and we have been camping there for years. A few years ago the campground was sold. The previous owners were super and their service was great. However, some things have changed. When I called to make our reservations I was charged $25.00 extra to reserve a particular site. I will say that I didn't like that. As we arrived on Thursday the store was closed at 5:00 PM

We stayed at a deluxe site and it had not been mowed. Checking in, the guy told us that we did not have reservations, after I showed him the registration, he called his boss and they found it.

The campsite was great and we enjoyed the stay. The one drawback is the location of the dump station.

My family and I have been camping at this location for over 15 years. We love this campground and always enjoy getting to come camp when we can. There have been many changes over the years and many improvements. We noticed at this visit that there were a lot more helpful workers ready to assist us with anything we needed and that the checkin time for RVs had changed back to 1:00. We LOVED THAT!!

Wanted to stay in the Ashville area. We could not have picked a better place to stay. We were close to everything we wanted to see. Love it and the people at the campground were great.

It was very nice. Except for the bad storm we had . This is the second time staying there and we loved it. Both times the staff has been very wonderful at helping us when we need it. THANK YOU !!

The grounds weren’t well kept. There were geese pooping all over the place. The sites were very tight. The office was hospitable but they need better landscaping crews. The grass needed mowing too

Our FHU was along one of the beautiful lakes! The views we had were outstanding! I love to walk and the paths around the lake were level clear and easy to follow! I enjoyed my morning walks there! We will be back when we are in the area! The only negative comment, is the large fire pit at our site was on a rise and it was not easy to sit more than 2 chairs around it.

Beautiful and well maintained. I had a deluxe patio site and loved it. I would recommend some grading to reduce the ground flooding when it rains. Otherwise, it was awesome!

We love the area and the KOA was a great place to stay. The staff was wonderful, just wish the store was open a little bit later.

We enjoy staying at this KOA. For us it is in a convenient location in the Asheville for things we like to do. The bathhouse are nice. They seem to keep them up to date and clean. The staff has always been friendly to us. I've enjoyed being right on the small ponds and have enjoyed fishing in them. There are two ponds with fish. The loop around both ponds is approximately one mile. There is plenty of open space to walk dogs as well. Holiday weekends this KOA fills up. Lots of children. Expect to be patient when driving in and out of the campground most camp goers walk the camp ground roads. Most of the sites are back in only. Which is not a problem for our short trailer. The only negatives I have for this KOA is the dump station. It is hard to get to unless you have a short trailer and a vehicle with a good turning radius or you have to back into or out of the dump station. Some of the sites seem to hold water when it rains, but all the sites we've stayed in have been flat. We have not rented any of the bikes, pedal carts, golf carts or anything like that.
