Stayed 2 nights. Very nice, clean bathrooms. Cookhouse to get meals onsite. So convenient. Pool was very nice. Would definitely stay again!

We had a tent site with no neighbors. Late at night (11PM) neighbors set up. They were LOUD, had headlights on (which shone into our tents), and once set up they started drinking and had music going (until 4AM). No KOA person made rounds to check on things. They did it again the next night. We decided to check out early and I let the front desk know. I got a "Sorry about that" from front desk

I am so sorry this happened. This is why, on the map you received, there is an afterhours phone number. It rings to the owners house, who would have come out to help you. If you ever have this issue anywhere, look on your map, there will be an afterhours number, especially if you are at a KOA.

Dog park is in middle of campground? Barking,barking,barking. We have always loved and think is a special place as we started coming through 30+ years ago. Very special. Please bring back the soft Native American music that was playing 24/7 throughout all the restrooms. Relaxing. PLEASE MOVE the DOG PARK back where it was! We love dogs, but other people want to enjoy the place too!

We appreciate your comments, and apologies for moving the dog park on you, but now it has trees, shade and places to sit in the park. We will have cabins in different locations next season, so we can keep you away from the dog park.

Everything was wonderful at his KOA with one exception. The time I checked in and left 2 days later, the heat was extremely hot. I was tent camping and during my first day, I had to ask to transfer my stay into a cabin with a/c. They helped me out with the one and only cabin they had left. They charged me for the transfer and gave me a credit for my other one. They were fantastic and understanding

Close to Badlands park. Nice clean restrooms and laundry. Glad to swim in the pool as it was very hot! Friendly staff.

Loved the shady dog park with the swing! Putt Putt area needs some attention. Staff very nice. Looks like improvements and updates are ongoing.

The usual KOA journey, nice folks, gravel, store and clean facilities. Propane was out so had to find on the road. Few trash cans scattered about. Mosquitoes were very bad but that’s nature. If you are going to see the badlands, this KOA is ten miles away on a windy road. Closer options available.

Thanks for the review. However, we are a straight shot and 5 miles from the Interior entrance to the Badlands National Park. IF you come to us from I-90, then we are 15 miles from that exit and you do come through the National Park.

Friendly staff, the food chef at the kamp kitchen was excellent! Pancakes, bacon, Buffalo burgers deserve 5 star rating. The pool depth markings need immediate repair, we thought the depth was 4 ft, turns out it was 7 ft, the label was missing. Our site was nice, but no fire ring, bit of a disappointment. Would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay! The staff were super friendly and helpful, our site was quiet and clean. The pool was well kept and the bathrooms/laundry room were tidy. We would most definitely stay again if we are out this way again!

Every thing was very nice .Very clean, we enjoyed our stay .. just remember to bring mosquito repellent. The mosquitos were so Bad..

Loved it! Close to the national park, great sites with shade or sun....you choose. The staff as terrific and the stay perfect. I even ate the Sunday AM pancakes from the grill. I hope I get the chance to be here again.

Very convenient location to camp by Badlands NP. Friendly staff. The camper adjacent to our spot had an issue with his RV slide out and the KOA staff maintenance fixed it so he could continue his travels.

Kid friendly but buggy. The mosquito fogger helped for one day. The last night we had small little bugs (not ants)crawl into our tent, small enough to crawl in between the seams. Our 20amp electric site kept tripping when we tried to charge our electric car.

Reasonable stay. Great location for the Badlands NP and also to get to Rushmore. Set up was ok, site was dirt and grass with a bit of gravel. Space between was not too close. Someone had a bug zapper nearby which was helpful.

too much mosquito in my Campsite, I can not go outside, too much. the washroom is clean. But they did not clean the campsite, that is why too much mosquito.

Clean bathrooms, fun activities, good breakfast, large fenced dog run (good to the ground fence), nice-cold swimming pool, lots of space for all campers, ez access to the Badlands, 2023 lots of mosquitoes (but the moisture helps everyone-and they sprayed, so bring bug spray and be happy it’s not bone dry.). Most importantly the staff were excellent, friendly, fun, and happy!!!

We loved the campground. It was in a quiet, peaceful, and beautiful area off the beaten path. The flies and mosquitoes are really bad, so bring the citronella and bug spray.

Flat, pull thru lots with full hookups. Would stay there again. The little restaurant was a welcome perk after traveling all day. Buffalo burgers were delicious! Clean shower houses.

It was very HOT (102) and lots of Flys and mosquitoes so it was difficult to sit or walk around the campground. Had to use bottle water to drink as the tap water tastes bad. Staff was excellent and the site was very nice.

We stayed four nights. The location is great for visiting the Badlands. We liked the trees for shade, large off-leash pet area, and the KooKhouse and Pavillion. The staff was super nice, and the park was very clean. The biggest issue was the mosquitoes and biting flies. The staff did "fog" for bugs the morning we left which really worked. To a lesser degree, the water had an unpleasant taste.

Great location and lots of things to do. Super clean bathrooms. However the pool was super dirty, lots of hair and bandaids. Also the mosquitos and flies will get you and they will be ruthless. No amount of spray or citronella will be able to stop them.

We apologize that you encountered an untidy pool area, we have addressed the issue. The mosquitoes are more difficult to control, however we do fog and spray on a daily basis.

I was pleased to find this campground. The tent site selected was just a short walk to the bathrooms and showers. The trash bin was close and there was access to fill up drinking water throughout the campground. It has a dog wash/cool off station right next to a well maintained dog park.

This might be my favorite koa. Thor and his wife are awesome. Everything here is about customer service, and they go above and beyond. We will be back.

We had a travel trailer, sites were nice, level and easy to get into. Quiet and peaceful setting although close enough to the National park entrance and the Loop road with hikes and overlooks. Heard cow moos in the distance at night. Host were friendly, and knowledgeable. clean, well kept and actually green. Located next to the white river. Would defiinetly stay here again if visiting the Badlands.
