The beds are incredibly uncomfortable. The air conditioner had black mold in the vents and smelled like a dead animal. This is the second year there and it was better than last year however it still could use improving for 270 a night.

No Wifi! This was included in our stay. The KOA should honor some type of refund. Will wait to hear back.

Although it's advertised with WiFi, during the whole day of our stay, there was no WiFi in or near the cabin. The staff told us they were working on it, but it's not available when we left. I asked if there's any compensation for that, the owner refused flatly.

Cabine très propre. Grand lit très confortable. Patio moustiquaire fantastique. Pas d’ustensiles cependant ni évier dans la kitchenette et notre frigo n’avait pas de mini congélateur. Les lits superposés donnent sur l’espace principal kitchenette et grand lit. Petite vue sur la mer. Le lobster roll de la cantine est sublimement délicieux. Personnel sympathique et accueillant.

Absolutely amazing! The staff was outstanding! Always friendly! The cafe was a nice place to get a bite to eat--and also very friendly! We did not use the firewood or laundry services but what a wonderful service to offer! My sister and I were last at Acadia National Park 43 years ago as part of an epic 2 week trip! Thanks for making our 2023 trip another trip to remember!!

Had what we needed. Beautiful sunset. Not as many amenities as other KOAs and cabins near marshy area meant lots of bugs.

Reserved a prime ocean site but the picture shown on the website was not the site we were assigned, which was deceiving. Could barely see the ocean from our site because of all the tree branches. Aside from that, we enjoyed our stay. Restrooms and area for trash disposal were not too far away. Staff at check-in and the store were very friendly and welcoming.

This is a great campground. Very attentive staff. The one suggestion: more to do for kids. The carts should be free for the kids. A new playground and perhaps a small pool or splash pad is needed. There are so many kids that come to the park, that it is more than a view for them. It is sad there is nothing for them to do.

Great place to staycation when in Maine— especially visiting Acadia National Park’s best trails & community of Bar Harbor adventures, putt putt, hikes, boats, island walks, & paddle boarding and eating lobster seafood in many locations around & different places to check out but KOA also brings you the perfect sunset!

The staff was great and very helpful. The park is well ran and clean, with lots of variety in the store. The cafe had lots of menu choices, that are reasonably priced. Looking forward to returning to this KOA.

The park is beautiful, the sea side sites are amazing. It would be a nice addition if there was something else for the kids to do ( jump pad, larger playground). The ocean side-rock exploring is great for a few days, but a little more for the kids to do after a few days would be a welcome addition. And crafts would be nice.

It was great being by the ocean and the staff was great! Very well maintained. The only thing I would have said is missing is a pool.

Booked this last minute and it was the highlight of the trip for our family. Wish we hadn’t wasted a night at another campground and just came here to begin with. Already planning another trip to this KOA for next Summer.

There were a lot of mosquitos. Being outside was unbearable. I could not leave any skin exposed.

The location of this campsite is unmatched. We loved that we could catch the island explorer bus into town. The lobster trap cafe was awesome, and it was great having access to the water from the camp. We stayed in a k cabin, and it was a bit annoying that we couldn’t pull the car right up to the cabin, but the wagons were handy. Also, we did not have WiFi in our cabin.

My wife and I really enjoyed our time and stay at Bar Harbor Oceanside. One of our best. We had some mishaps on our journey to this KOA but after our stay it made us forget all about those problems. Looking forward to re booking our next stay hear.

Love this campground. I stay for 4 weeks and next year 5 weeks. Has a very peaceful inviting feel about this campground.

Going on 20 years of staying with you and still loving it! We appreciate the noticeable improvements to amenities (cafe, food offerings, stock in camp store, etc.). The only downside is the increase in amount of cabins in the center which makes for an increase in road noise due to tree removal. This year’s staff was excellent - friendly, funny, and efficient. Thanks for another wonderful stay!

Bar Harbor KOA Oceanside is a very special campground. We stayed in a deluxe cabin on the waters edge. The view was spectacular. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The bed was very comfortable which is so important at the end of a long day. The staff was friendly and helpful. The sunsets over the bay are breathing. We will be back next year

Looked the area and free shuttle along with beach front site. The issue I had was the cleanliness for the price I paid. The bathroom was not up to par and there was a broke glass bottle for 2 days outside of the rest room. Also, the site did not have much privacy and were small. Should plant some trees between sites to make it more private.

Excellent KOA. Friendly staff, and extra touches like delivery of firewood and ice to campsites. Our lot had a great view of the Ocean. Although a bit expensive, I would highly recommend it.

We loved our cabin site. What a pleasant surprise to be housed in the trees. We also loved how close we were to any island adventures and also ones off the island. Only wish we had more time.

Our water front site was beautiful. The grounds were well kept and the bathrooms were clean. The shower rooms were clean and spacious. Hoping to stay longer next year at the same site.

The campground is great, we had site 406 which is huge, however 405 seems better since 406 is supposed to be oceanfront but far from the water. Lean-up kitchen and wifi are great to have. Bit expensive for camping though (150$/night).

KOA Bar Harbor is heaven on earth! From the nicest people at check in to everyone that works at the campground is awesome! We consider ourselves lucky to have found our little spot and will return ever year!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and all our interactions with staff were great. While we love being able to rent a cabin, do wish the bathroom was a bit nicer. The toilet didn't seem to flush super well and the drain in the bathtub was a bit grungy looking. Also, would appreciate better toilet paper.

KOA Bar Harbor Oceanside earns their 5 stars! The staff are courteous and friendly. The sites are all roomy. Ours was at the oceans edge and was beautiful! Many water side RV sites plus tent sites and nice cozy cabins. I highly recommend this KOA!

Amazing campsite! Great location. They took us in last minute. the bathrooms were so clean, and everyone was very professional! Loved it here and would highly recommend. Can't wait to come back.
