Michelle and James were great and staff wass bery friendly. The camp ground was clean and well kept. Although the pool was not season, it needed to be more presentable, great stay!

The quality of the staff at this location is second to NONE. They are fabulous, attentive and make sure all is well for all their campers. They went above and beyond in our behalf to help with an air conditioner issue and acted immediately to remedy the situation. Thank you so much for such an excellent staff! The only down side of our stay was the pool was inoperable.

Nice facility. Women's hot water in the shower didn't work. Easy after hour check in. The only thing is this park is not really in Carlsbad New Mexico. It's about 30 minutes outside of the City in the opposite direction of the Caverns.

No pool in 100 degree weather. Water had layer of oil in it and curdled coffee creamer both dry and carton types.

It’s our second visit and usually stay only one night. Staff very accommodating and friendly. They do have propane and a nice store.

No hot water one night and it was barely considered warm when it was "fixed". No real usable counter space around bathroom sinks and the touch free faucets practically had to be touched to work and only stayed on for 1-2 seconds, making it hard for brushing teeth/washing. Some showers missing curtains letting personal items to get wet and no shelf in shower, items had to be placed on ground.

If you want to camp near the Caverns this is the place! Enjoyed biking on the trails to the lake from the campground. The outdoor games were fun - corn hole, giant chess and checkers!

the web site is out of date, no barbecue, no pool, a disappointment, still payed full price, no discount for lack of services, charge for coffee, store hours are 9 - 5,

Excellent campground! Quiet, restful, friendly staff, working equipment. Front desk has info about goings on at Carlsbad Caverns, nice little store too!

98 degrees outside and the pool was closed, was not notified of this when we booked our stay or at anytime after that until we checked in. Don’t expect a hot shower either.

Friendly check-in Level pull-thru. Water, electric, & sewer worked fine Laundry room was clean, washer & dryer seemed new & functioned well. No picnic table, or shade/windbreak

The worker there were very nice and pleasant. The grounds where not taken care of grass was dead the camping sit gravel was not level you got the whit gravel Dust all your shoes or travel trailer wherever you stepped in your car.. showers bathroom had no hot water. The pool was dirty nasty looking unable to use.. Heritage bathroom showers and pool, but no one can be used for the bathroom..

Stayed a week, the hosts were great, friendly and helpful. Grounds kept clean and maintained. Bust place for sure. It is a bit outside of town but a ways off the highway so not noisy. I'd stay again!

Great layout. Large, level, gravel pull-thru sites big enough for our 40' motorhome & F150 truck. Staff was very friendly & helpful. There are a lot of amenities & easy driving distance local attractions.

Mainly laundry facility, poor maintenance of washers and dryers, 4 out of 9 not working 3rd dryer we tried actually worked, Bathroom sink in womens wasn't draining, 1 faucet in mens was working. Otherwise showers, dog park, grounds and location were great.

I have stayed there the last 3 years. The kitchen is always closed. The pool is always closed and you charge double in your store for what you can pay for it in town.

Our stay was good. The staff was awesome and the campground well-maintained. The pool was closed and quite small. Good location from which to see the caverns and Roswell.

The buddy campsite we had was fun because it shared a common patio with our friends. It had a Bbq grill, wrought iron table and hanging swing for two. The only concern we had was using the water. We had a filter but when adding cream to our coffee, it curdled. It was not the cream. It was fine when we used bottled water. We did not use it for drinking or cooking after that incident.

Both our stays have been wonderful. The first time, due to the winds, our tent stakes broke and they kindly upgraded us to a cabin. This time around everything was clean, staff was friendly and super helpful!! Our cabin was so roomy! (One queen + 2 bunks). We'll definitely stay again if we're in the area. I love waking up to nature and the kids have a nice time with the activities available!

The rv park is very nice with lots of amenities. The only complaint I have is that if you are coming from the caverns, there is not a sign. The road you take to get to the park is a gravel road, and it doesn't look like a KOA would be there

Great campsite for our tent. We really appreciated the covering and storage area within the site. Wonderful recreation room, too. Bathrooms were always clean. Thanks for a great stay.

The site was pretty small both length and width. Very windy every day for a week with red flag warnings which means no campfires. Had to rent a fire ring for $10, hadn't seen that before....we bought 2 bundles of firewood for $20 and received 9 small pieces. We found Robert's firewood local and got a giant wheelbarrow full for $30. Overall the place was just okay, not great.

Beautiful surroundings. Campsites are the LARGEST I have ever seen coast to coast at a KOA. Very level sites. Campground is secluded but stunning in ambiance. NEGATIVE: The water is not for consumption (staff recommendation). Also, the area is prone to high winds and can be very dusty.

We stayed here a few years back and liked it. This time, on the other hand, was not great. The facilities need work and cleaning. The camp host did nothing to stop a loud party that was going on until 2am. Overall, my recommendation would be to find somewhere else.

It was good but when they grading the roads they should spray a little water on it so it’s the dust. Does iget crazy?

This park says it's in Carlsbad New Mexico, but it really is 30 minutes from the City and in the opposite direction of the Caverns. Drive time to the Caverns was almost an hour. Clean RV park, great big drive through spaces. Easy after hours check in. 90 degrees outside in May, pool was closed and no hot water in the women's shower.

This KOA was really nice. A large laundry room, a nice gift shop, and a large gathering room. The hosts were all very friendly and helpful!
