Loved everything, only thing negative was the grass at our site needed to be cut. We stay here every September and will be back.

From the booking of reservations, to the front desk receptionists, to the cabin, to the beach, pool and TiKi Bars, the entire stay was delightful. I was so pleasantly surprised as a first time guest. Cape Charles KOA is a lovely little piece of heaven on earth. Thank you to all those who daily endeavor at this KOA Resort to inspire its guests through pure fun, entertainment, & safety to relax!

Our cabin was filthy. The tiny coffee maker had coffee grounds left in it. The front door locks didn’t function. Dead bolt if used did not work, you’d get locked in or out. Door knob didn’t work properly. Fans filthy. Knob on stove had note broken. Very disappointed for the price. Don’t know if we’ll be back next year.

Cabin was filthy. Wet towels and sheets left from previous. Beds had dirt on sheets. Ac didn’t work work. Screen porch door broke and screen tore at bottom so couldn’t have dog with us.

It was not a good experience, the property is great but the management is not. I emailed all the details since they won't fit here. I went to the office and called and was told the GM would call me, he never did.

The place was beautiful but the Master bedroom has ants all over by the bed, closest to the window. The A/C unit in the main area does not work correctly nor does the TV. We did not have a good time in the cabin (Site 212).

Asked for a two bedroom handicap accessible cabin .Had a cabin with two bunk beds in the hall . Not feasible for two adults to sleep in . Sofa bed old , mattress was not good . The room with queen bed was against the wall . I’m 68 and I had to crawl to get into bed . I was told all accessible cabins are the same . Not handicap accessible ! Some 2 bedrooms need to be accessible . Campground nice

Just say NO!! I stayed at the Cape Charles KOA under an initial reservation and then received a text from the General Manager to extend for 1/2 price any additional days. I jumped on the offer since I am a KOA Member. This KOA is a mess; broken window blinds in all rooms of the cabin, missing knob on stove (housing code violation!), dirty shower curtain, four+ hours to get toilet paper, etc.

I have been staying at KOA's since 2010. I always know what to expect when staying at any of them....clean, friendly and all the amenities I need. The staff has always been there to help with whatever I need. This last time at the Cape Charles KOA had everything I wanted and so many things for my 2 granddaughters to do. It was a great stay at the KOA!

stayed in a "deluxe" cabin. The cabin smelled like damp mold,had to spray everything down with lysol. no sink drying rack, bed side lamp, or comforter. the air unit in the bunk bedroom did not have cool or cold air,it also had black "stuff" in the vents. dog bags were not filled by the beach path the entire stay. pool was green up until 8/31 for the holiday crowd.staff. staff not competent n lazy.

Our stay was terrific! The cabin was great- nice shower and rooms. Loved the screened in porch and the fire pit area with Adirondack chairs. Staff was helpful. Amazing view!

The cabin was not up to par. We paid more for closer access to pool the the cabin was below average. My daughter was in a less expensive cabin but was above average in condition. I dont feel $70. Was warranted based on condition of cabin and lot. Highly disappointed. My first experience cAmping.

I enjoyed my time. Cabins could be a little cleaner and the kids on golf carts could slow down but other than that I had a good time! Bar staff was very nice!

Getting someone to answer the phone at the front was a nightmare. We arrived at our first cabin, it was filthy. After a phone call, they did move us to a different cabin. We then had to call for linens and towels in the new place. Definitely frustrating when traveling with 3 kids and 2 dogs who are just ready to get settled after a long trip. The rest of our stay was fine. The grounds were kept up

Site 323 was perfect, Long run for sewage hookup. Only complaint I have is for the old folks with us needed easier access to beach, maybe install steps down to beach area. Beach was much cleaner from our July visit. Other complaint no doggy bags at any other stands near bear, sorry we ran out of ours

I understand a renovation starts in Nov. I wonder if the condition of 732 was due to staffing shortages or the renovation. We entered at 5:08 check-in 4:00, I received a $50 refund, shorted from what I was told I would receive. The stove had a burner that if left in the off position leaked gas? The shower curtain was covered in mold and basic cleaning was not done. BUT we love the location!!!!!!

We loved all the amenities at this KOA and will definitely return. The only thing that we thought could be better was the grass being mowed and trimmed around the sites. Ours was pretty tall, especially near the fire pit. We also booked a deluxe cabin for our son & daughter in law and it had some things that could have used maintenance like the kitchen drawers and the screen door.

I had my 2 grandsons 10 years old and 2 years old, we had such a wonderful time! The kids loved the pool, I loved that the shallow side was only 2 feet so my 2 year old grandson could play without me having to hold him the whole time. We had fun at the arcade, getting ice cream, and the jumping pillow. We stayed in a delux cabin and the kids and I were very comfortable, it had everything we needed

Amazing location. Terrible prep and maintenance. Cabin that was advertised had two twin bunks and a full bed. Our cabin had only 1 twin bunk and the full, so two of my kids had to sleep together all week. There was no pillow and no blanket on the full bed. We were part of a group of 33 family members (first KOA trip). Every one of us absolutely loved KOA Cape Charles and plan to return annually/bi-annually. My immediate family added an extra night because we didn't want to leave! The staff is EXTREMELY nice, professional, and helpful. The amenities are impressive. The beach/water was fantastic for our littles and for floating in bunches. Amazing!

We really enjoyed our stay. The only hiccup was when we arrived after hours our sheets were dirty. Otherwise the cottage was clean. The staff was able to deliver to us clean sheets the next day. Staff friendly, well kept grounds. Beach was perfect and fu will be back.

We always have a great stay at this campground. Love the cabins. Has a good bar/restaurant on the beach. Swimming pool is very nice. One problem is the wifi is lacking and should cover campground better.

The place is great for kids, lots of entertainment and a nice beach. However, it lacks good cleaning. When we checked in, our cabin was disgusting, I had to clean it as soon as we got in, it was unlivable. And the linen had stains and DOG HAIR, which tells me that the linen had not been changed. We still enjoyed the place but next time I’ll definitely point it out to have the cabins properly cle

The beach is beautiful and not crowded so that was wonderful. The cabin is nice and spacious but had ants which was disappointing. The windows were also without blinds and instead covered by a sheet and the door had no cover so it did not feel secure.

We met several other camper friends for the same wkd. My only complaint is that you advertise 2 pools same as last year and still the pool in front not so kid friendly was still not open. Why is it not open but still advertised . we enjoyed that one 2 years ago because we don't have kids and would like a quieter vacation. Everything else was wonderful thanx Lawrence and Berta brush

The cabin was the perfect size. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. However, the cabin was not extremely clean. Broken drawers, old food spills in drawers, fridge wasn’t super clean, broken blinds, and the trash can (when I took the bag out to empty it) was absolutely disgusting under the bag. We made it work but it definitely wasn’t as well kept as the pictures online showed.
