We stayed at here for a week in a cabin with family staying in other sites nearby. We stayed in one of the oyster bay cabins. It was very nice and very clean when we arrived. The pool was great, The playground and jumping pad we're great. And it was nice having a golf cart. Everyone drove around responsibily and was having a great time. The Staff is very Friendly and helpful. We will back!

We rented a cabin across from the pool. Did not look clean in fact the receipt from the previous renter was still laying on the dining table. The room smelled so bad we had to go ask for lysol. After we spayed and came back it was better. We would not stay here again.

We stayed in a delux cabin on Sunset Bluff. The cabin was clean and stocked with necessities. Some of the highlights during our stay include the pool, the beach, the arcade games, the proximity to the cute town center as well as the state park. Very dog friendly.

Our stay was wonderful . Camp was nice and accommodating.. Cabin could have been cleaner.. Like new window fly traps .. NO one want to look at dead flies.. Missing things in kitchen. No dish cloth or drying towel.. The beach could be cleaner, lots of trash. The pool was great. Staff very friendly. Need more trash cans ( only one at the gate) Over all we would stay again .. Thanks!

We love the cape Charles KOA. I was very disappointed to see so much trash on the beach though, particularly plastic cups and straws from the restaurant. I wonder if there is a way you can reduce the litter. It was a little depressing.

All was good except the cabin had sand all over the floors upon check-in. It's supposed to be a cabin for 6 yet there were only 3 bath towels, more than 1 trash bag would be helpful and the towel rack in the bathroom well off the wall as soon as I touched it.

Everyone was incredibly nice and helpful! We couldn't get over all of the great and clean amenities and the great attitude of everyone that worked there! We had a blast and will definitely be back! In particular, we interacted with the folks in the store, golf cart rentals, the pool cabana rentals and the on site restaurant. Everyone was beyond kind and helpful. Fantastic customer service!

Campground is great with amenities and private beach. It would have been nice to have the pool by the Joel open to have another place to visit, especially when the pool by the ocean is crowded. Our cabin was great overall except we had an ant infestation. We asked for ant traps 3 times over the course of 2 days and were finally given traps to put out by ourself. This was in cabin 901.

We only stayed 2 nights, and really wish we could have stayed longer. Loved the cabin, pool, and beach access. My daughter loved the sandbar and finding hermit crabs. Will definitely be back and I definitely recommend!

Very disappointed. For the past 5 years we've had our family/friends trip (usually about 40 people) here and this was the worst stay. We love the area, but the cabin was filthy, beach was dirty, pool wasn't clean, and my message for the manager was never received per the manager. Workers need the proper tools for a successful stay...don't think they have what they need. Pictures are available.

I loved the facility. Our cabin could have been cleaner. It would also be nice to have extra paper towels, bath towels, toilet paper and trash bags in cabin.

This was actually part 2 of two stays put together, thanks to candy and Tammy. All the team members were nice and the grounds looked great. Joshua, Candy and Tammy were all especially helpful. The campground was great. The new Sunset Grill is coming along nicely. We had a great time and will be back next year.

We had a very pleasant stay. The quality and cleanliness of the facilities was excellent and the staff was very attentive. The only thing I would add would be to have a dish washing station for ease of food clean up for the tents. I have stayed at other KOAs with that accommodation and it was very beneficial. Thank you so much and we can't wait to return!

The cabin was really nice for the most part. However, there were a lot of ants, the floor was not washed from prior occupants & there were only 2 bowls for our family to share at breakfast. Almost every set of blinds had broken/missing pieces, & no spare trash bags for the kitchen trash can. Small things, but at almost $300/night you expect better. Otherwise we loved it & hope to return!

Whenever we asked for anything, paper towels (which were initially full of mold under the sink), towels, even for the firewood we paid for to be delivered they never were. We had to follow up 4 times for our firewood and at that point we ended up bringing them back to the cabin. We had to buy paper towels and went without the towels we asked for. Truly disappointing stay. We won’t be back.

Stayed in a cabin with my granddaughter. We had a wonderful time. The cabin was clean and well stocked in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable. We’ll be back next summer.

Great location right next to the beach! We enjoyed the private cabin and appreciated that the cabin and the beach are both dog-friendly. The cabin itself had a few minor maintenance or housekeeping issues -- lightbulbs missing or burned out, a couple wasps in the bathroom, ants in the kitchen -- but that sort of comes with the territory at a beach cabin. Otherwise great!

My family and I had the best time visiting the KOA. It was so much fun and accommodating. We loved how kid friendly it was for our little ones. The sunset over the beach was breath taking the first night we were there. I would definitely love to come back again another time.

I was very disappointed with the accommodations. The place we stayed in was dirty and rundown. This was my first experience at a kOA so I will be very leery about staying at another. That said, most of the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Extra room had dirty foot prints on the walls and on ceiling. Took a Lysol wipe and it wiped right off. Cleaning could be better :) Handle was broke on the stove and screen on front door was loose. Dirty wash rag from previous tenant was still in bath tub. Other than that, great location! Sunsets were absolutely gorgeous there!

Love the cabins. Great entertainment! Love the pools, playgrounds for kids, restaurant, store & beach. Always something to do & a great staff.. Have come there the last 3 years and hope to continue my visits.

Cabin 215 was very clean on our arrival and ready at check in! The ceiling fan in the bathroom was not there although the receptacle for it was; please replace soon. We also got to visit friends who stay in permanent sites and hope your KOA keeps a balance of permanent sites and cabin options. Attentive staff; the garbage pick up every morning; gift shop well stocked. We had a great week!

We stayed in a cabin for the week. The cabin was spotless and well maintained. We didn't have hot water the first night! There is a switch to turn it on, who woulda thunk???

Fun place to stay. Friendly staff, cabins are great have everything you need. i will certainly be back again. Only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is the cabin could have been a little cleaner.

Pool and restrooms were very dirty. Couldn’t even see your feet in the pool. Algae growing in the pool. The restrooms by pool were absolutely destroyed by mid day. Cabins were still nice but need cleaning. Porches need to be cleaned. Overall still enjoyed our stay just disappointed with the cleanliness compared to previous years

My cabin wasn’t as clean as I would have liked. The shower was dirty and had mold on the bottom wall behind the toilet as well as inside my shower at the circle drain part. My sheets that were placed at the end of the weren’t folded and you guys made me put them on the beds myself which I found very unprofessional. Had an amazing time, gem of a campground. My partner and two friends were here for the Reggae on the Bay charity event and had an amazing time. The accommodations were clean and well stocked, located close to the beach, pool and amenities. Our 13 year old puggle enjoyed the large dog park and the doggie beach, that was a bonus. Staff at the camp and Sunset Grill were awesome. Cant wait for more.

Our cabin didn’t have blinds, instead there were sheets ties on the blind brackets on the front windows. On our porch was a nice table, but only had two chairs. Holes in the screen of the front windows. Pans in kitchen needed to be replaced, broken utensils and very limited supplies. Getting fresh towels was an ordeal. Communication poor from staff, although they were pleasant. Not worth price!

I had the pleasure of having a "Girl's Trip" with my 2 besties last weekend and we stayed in the safari tent. I have never had a camping experience before and loved it! Yes, it was hot but, with the fans going it was good. We loved the beach and scenery. All the staff we encountered were great. We had fun participating in the activites. We laughed like we were kids again. Becca is awesome in Rec !
