Awesome experience, campground and employees were extremely nice, bingo nite was fun and we enjoyed our selves. Pizza night was canceled due to weather, was kind of disappointed but Mother Nature won’t always cooperate.

We stayed at Durham/Freeport KOA for the last eight days in our Fifth Wheel. We found the campground well managed and maintained. The pool is very nice...glad to see the new Tube Water Slide being installed in the pool (to replace the former blow-up version pictured on the website). It was great to see the owner Bob take the kids for train ride, and others on a hayride Sat and Sun evening.

Everyone was very nice.We had bad weather, not their fault, but we left early. The pancake breakfast was great! Bathrooms needed cleaning, but campground it self was very clean.Staff went out of their way to make everyone happy !

There needs to be some gravel laid down. It is super dusty. Every time a vehicle passes by, you have to run and close your doors. Otherwise you leave with an RV full of dust. We actually ended up leaving the same day because we couldn't deal with the dust. However, itnstill gets a high review because there are good amenities and the staff I'd very friendly.

This was the second time we’ve stayed. But a different site. We like the campground. Well kept . I only have one complaint about the KOA’s . I think the charge for a guest is a little steep.Especially when they are only coming for dinner.

Campground is next to a gravel pit. Constant loud beeping from the equipment is horrible. We were informed the campground cannot do anything about the noise and it would take place everyday from 7:30am until 5pm. Our site smelled like sewage. We left after one night.

We truly enjoyed this KOA location and staff. Our stay was relaxing and comfortable. The friendliness of the staff and owner made us feel at home as soon as we arrived and throughout our entire stay. Thank you!

Dirt road leading to camp ground need better maintenance and more trees at sights would improve appearance.

First site had truck ruts in the site- lots of dirt. Switched to a better site, first site should not have been a consideration for a guest. Gravel pit on the back side of campground, heard constant back up sounds beginning at 8:00am. Does not set the stage for a relaxing stay. Aside from convenience to Freeport, Bean and BoothBay, the campground had little to offer. Charge a fee to use pool.

The staff is very caring & considerate. We stayed here to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary and they went out of their way to make us feel special!! Thank you so much! Clean bathrooms & showers. Quiet campground. Very nice sites. Already made reservations for next year.

Nice bathrooms, but the shower curtains could be a little bit larger. The dog park was great as long as people know to take turns and not enter without asking nice quiet, kampground.

Loved our wooded site, staff was friendly & helpful. Pizza delicious! Didn't bring pets, but love the pet-friendly touches. Father's Day bkfast very nice! A few simple fixes: Our picnic table was rotten (many already being replaced), shower curtains falling apart & don't cover the door (cold air!) and chintzy TP on massive rolls is REALLY frustrating!!! Very clean place. Would stay again.

we have stayed in many KOA and this was the most disappointing. .When checking in they told us the would pick up our trash at site. Didn't pick up till we called days later. Grass need to be cut. We were there for 7 days. Poorly kept. Didn't see any maintenance during our stay.

We love this campground. My 5yo said this was his favorite vacation last year because of the slide into the pool. We stayed here so we could visit Boothbay and Portland.

A very nice campground with friendly and accommodating staff. Our site was a back-in and very roomy. Lots of grass and the trail around the park is lovely. We will definitely stay again as we weren't able to see as much as we wanted around the area due to an ill pet.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in one of the smaller cabins. The showers and bathrooms were always clean and in great function. Located in a quiet wooded area, which was wonderful! Still close enough to town for a great shopping and eating experience. There were a lot of activities throughout the week for those who wanted to participate. Wonderful stay! We love Maine, so we will probably stay here again! Price was great! I have chickens back home in Ohio, so seeing chickens on the property made me miss mine a little less. Thank you!
