As soon as I drove into this campground, I knew I picked a winner. I loved how shady and cool it was. The office was so cute with a deck outside that had tables and umbrellas where you can hang out. The girls in the office were super friendly and the store had so much to choose from. I am glad I joined KOA rewards. I’m already looking for KOA’s at destinations that I have planned in the future

The staff was amazing! I hit a deer with my truck and camper 25 minutes down the road from the campground. The staff went above and beyond to help me and my family. They went to the store and bought supplies to patch the camper and wouldn’t let me pay for it. They stayed up with me until almost 11:30 pm patching my camper. I highly recommend this KOA. We will absolutely be returning!

It was a very nice weekend stay in a cabin. The grounds are well maintained and the bathrooms are clean. The breakfast they offer on the weekends is a great dale and delicious. We will be back again soon.

The cabins were very rustic,clean. The AC worked well. The store had plenty. The pool is beautiful but needed skimming from big bugs and leaves. The office was friendly and informative. The roundabout in the town of Gettysburg was about 12 min away down one highway 116. The eateries were there as well. The RV spaces were well spaced and seemed level .Nice place.

This is our 2nd year coming here because last year was so wonderful. This year was exactly the same if not better!! Absolutely so relaxing...so many activities for Labor Day weekend, great "campground vibes" aka everyone waves, says hello, fun things to do, campfires at night, very safe, comfortable, and doesn't feel crowed even though the whole place is almost sold old! All around the best.

We always enjoy our stay here. We spend the day touring the battlefield and return for a relaxing evening. The facilities are always clean and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The weekend breakfasts are delicious!

This is our second stay at the campground and it is nice. We stayed in cabin 14; we had our dogs and found this site difficult due to the rocky path/hill. It’s very difficult to walk dogs down this as we worried about slipping. This cabin also requires parking and walking around the cabin to enter. Nice area but pet friendly cabins would be much better on lower ground near pet run.

Had a good stay, the staff are friendly, there are a lot of amenities, however, some of the amenities are not kept after as well as others. Cabin was clean and comfortable. We always enjoy our stay here!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Gettysburg/Battlefield KOA. The staff is very welcoming, kind, and helpful. The campground itself is beautiful. It's clean and very nicely designed. Our granddaughters enjoyed swimming, playing on the ship playground, and staying in one of the cabins. The cabins are clean and comfortable. We will be returning to this KOA location many times in the future.

We had a great time as always. The campground is well maintained. The owner and the employees are very friendly and helpful. The cabin we stayed in was clean and comfortable. The weekend breakfast is not to be missed. We look forward to coming back in the Fall.

The grounds were beautiful. But it seemed we were nickel and dime to the max, there was no complentry coffee or other small cost items. And on our last day the water stopped working in the bathrooms so i could not take a shower before we left , and the toilets were full of excrements, and the bathrooms stunk, the shower dripped steadily. Plus we had to sweep out our cabin before we left.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

WE are sorry that you could not take a shower before leaving. Unfortunately, there was a power outage at 5 am that day. WE are on a well, which means no water. We kept everyone informed thru text. And we also kept jugs of water at all the bathrooms to use for flushing.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Cabin was very nice and bed was comfortable. Only slight hitch was the window a/c right next to the bed, a little noisy trying to sleep.

The campground and facilities are clean and well taken care of. If an issue comes up they take care of it right away. Our AC unit stopped working and they replaced it with a new one the same day. I couldn't be happier with our stay.

I loved staying here many years ago when I was a kid and wanted to bring my family. A surprise thunderstorm dropped a tree branch through the roof of our tent right after setup. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and salvaged our trip. I’ll always be grateful for everything they did for us. This is a top tier campground with amazing ownership, and we’re excited to visit again so

We stayed in one of your basic cabins. The campground is shady - a huge plus in the July heat! Very clean, with air conditioning, a mini fridge and tv. Not too far from the restrooms. The campground was very well maintained, with a great camp store, a restaurant for breakfast on the weekend, a nice pool and alot of free and very affordable activities for the kids. I will choose this KOA again!

Horrible. Clown riding around on koa golf cart all night with lights off saying music was to loud. But nobody at sites was complaining . Felt like I was being harassed. Worst experience at a KOA ever. Been to others with no issues. I would absolutely recommend Gettysburg campground over this one.

A man on a golf cart kept harassing my friend that was in the cabin bellow us. Saying his music was to load and that we were talking to load. We were not being load or disrespectful at all. I will never stay there again and I will make shure I tell everyone the same.

We stayed in a cabin (1 queen, one twin/twin bunk) as a family of 4. Cabin was clean upon arrival, campsite was in good condition, overall the pool and playground were where we spent most of our campsite time and the kids enjoyed it. There is a porch swing on the cabin but I recommend bringing chairs to sit close to the fire. The KOA is located near a lot of the battlefields and historic sites and is only a 10 minute drive from downtown. We will definitely be back. Bath houses were also well kept and cleaned daily

Thursday to Saturday Stay at Gettysburg KOA. We did not spend too much at camp ground due to exploring. Only a short drive into town. Extremely quiet camp ground. Lots of shade and the gravel was a nice change from dirt site. Sites are great size and easy back in with bigger rig. It is VERY dark at night so if you require to use bath house once it is sun down bring a flash light. We did have to check in after hours. Easy and was left a map with our site circled. The office shop was the biggest one we've seen thus far. Wood burnt very quick in the rock pits so buy double of what you expect to use. Unfortunately no paranormal experience aside from hearing a single gunshot echoing which could of been today or the past ;) Girls loved the play ground and the little gym. Kids claimed the shower temp fluctuates between extremely hot and cold. Must adjust frequently. Staff very friendly. Pool up, running, and nice and clear! Would return!

Nice campground near Gettysburg, PA. Shower house, pool, walking trail circles up hill and back to campsites. Cabins are for rent
