It’s our favorite place to go! We noticed it was cleaner than ever, the pool looked great and the facilities and bathrooms were super clean. The inventory at the store is wonderful. Jimmy and the staff are amazing! We just booked 2 more trips.

Beautiful property and clean bathrooms. We stayed in a camping pocket, it was so nice and the bed was comfortable. The fridge and AC were a plus. It was right on the edge of the river making it unlike any camp ground I have ever stayed at.

We had a nice but too short time, mining for Herkimer diamonds! And enjoyed coming back to the very quiet campground afterwards.

Came for diamonds but got much more! Best smash burger ever at Cafe for lunch! Enjoyed the outdoor beer garden complete with Airstream diner and ice cream red airstream! Our cabin was very close to the mine and just right for a one night stay! Even was able to check in early! Thanks so much!

This was a check off my bucket list! I had to collect my daughter from college in VT, and had extra time before the pick up date,and always wanted to try to mine diamonds! This was only 2.5 hrs away from campus, more fun than staying in a hotel, and a great adventure. And I found a few diamonds! My cabin was clean and comfortable for myself, I liked having a fridge and power. Met nice ppl too!

The campground was kept very clean. It was a holiday weekend, so very crowded and many of the sites seem to be very small/on top of each other. I will be very selective of the site I choose for any return visit. Also, I would have thought after a holiday weekend, knowing the amount of people checking out, the office would have opened before 9am. Many people waiting outside to check out.

This is my second year coming with my family, and each time we have been blown away by the absolute incredible staff. I wish I could remember names but you truly have some great people. We have decided that we will be back for years to come! Thank you all!!!!

The staff was great in helping me upgrade to cabin K5 for our 2nd anniversary. We loved the cabin, cozy and peaceful! The only suggestion I have is to make sure that the grills work. We had to assist our neighbors with their grill for it would not start, had plenty of propane. In the end we had to switch the grills out with one that worked. Overall, we had a great time and stay!

Super cute Cabin. Beautiful Kampground. Stayed in KT2, and the only complaint was the pull out couch. To sit on it was very uncomfortable, and to lay on the "bed" once it was pulled out was horrendous. The mattress was no more than a cover for the springs. You could feel the cross bars as well as every pocket where the springs on the frame were. Not to mention how loud the bed was when moving.

It was overall pretty good but some things were frustrating. I had seen that the restaurant wouldn't be open yet but was disappointed the canteen wasn't, no where to eat. The store only had raw bacon. Then in the lodge (K4), the sign on the wall said there was a dig kit in the lodge and it wasn't there. I even asked.

The cabins by miners village (we stayed in DK3) were so cute! The kitchen was so helpful to have and the amenities were very nice. The bed wasn’t the greatest (but when are they ever?), but that did not take away from our trip at all. Close to town for groceries and a lovely stay overall. I will definitely stay here again!

Just not for us - we were disappointed with the beds - very claustrophobic in the “bedroom” so ended up sleeping on the futon which was definitely not a queen and very uncomfortable - no fake creamer to dilute the tar pretending to be coffee. loved the location though

Magical, a true gem with amazing people who show vibrantly they love what they're doing, and who they're doing it for! We truly fell in love with Herkimer �, and that's during a wet, and rainy �� storm coming though to share most our visit. Still, it did not sway our need to explore and become mesmerized. I was very disappointed, it said sleeps 6 but that was false it would only fit 4 comfortably, the futon was small,ripped and had no cushion, it needs to be replaced, we also were invested with ants , didn't have anofe towels, paper towels, the water main broke and we were left with no water.i paid over $350.00 . And feel it wasn't worth it. I would like some compensation for my disappointment.

We lost water in the morning, so we couldn't use the bathroom or shower. The outside bathrooms were locked too. It wasn't advertised that nothing was open yet- it should be mentioned. We did not bring dinner with us, we were planning on eating at the restaurant. The pull out couch had a miserable "mattress" on it. The KOA itself was absolutely beautiful & well maintained.

The Diamond Lodge at the KOA was incredible. We walked in and everyone was overjoyed with the amount of space, the beautiful decor and the amount of sitting spots! It's a cozy place to have a fire and play games with friends and family, and there were plenty of beds to sleep in. We had breakfast on the back porch by the creek and it was beautiful.

If wasn’t for our terribly uncomfortable mattress of the pull-out sofa, I would rate our stay a 5/5. However, the mattress of the pull-out sofa was near unbearable. You could feel every single spring and the mattress was so thin, you could feel the bars of the frame beneath. Time for upgrade! Otherwise, the campground was very accommodating and had everything you could possibly need!

We had a great time and everyone was very friendly. The only two things that could be improved would be to strip and redo the floor in the cabins and mattresses were very uncomfortable. But neither of these would effect us as far as our return. It was still very fun

Rented solar cabin 2 and had an amazing time. The staff were very friendly and beyond helpful with everything we needed. Will definitely be coming up there again.

Family had fun! Everything was clean and staff was very nice. We like they have some amenities especially the common area with fire pit and Cornhole. We juts wish our small cabin had a bathroom but understand there are all options for that. Perhaps a quicker safer pathway to the bathrooms would help.

This was my 2nd trip to KOA Herkimer. Again stayed in the wood cabins near the mining area. Even though there was a lot of wet damp April weather, my visit was wonderful. The entire staff was warm and kind. The room was very comfortable and the people who I met were nice. For sure, I will be back.

Perfect check in and Put process with clean facilities and comfortable bed!!! The increased prices are the only downfall but seems everyone is in the same boat! The stay was perfect!

Drove 4 hours to go to first crack.Sure would of been better if KOA was the open day before mines.Made it too long of a day and I won't ever do that again.KOA lost money, could of had 2 night stay vs 1 .Food for thought,your welcome.

Beautiful KOA Resort! We've been coming with our children's school for the last 6 or 7 years, and every year there's something new. It's clear that the owners constantly re-invest in this place and take pride in it, and that's beautiful to see. The staff are super friendly, there's plenty of activities, and the cabins are well-maintained and really nice to stay in. Highly recommend for a fun family trip!
