It's a three-mile, dog-friendly trek that will put you up close and personal with the area's flora and fauna. You'll wander along the shores of the lake, taking in the idyllic sights and sounds of an untouched land. 

Prompton State Park 

Explore 26 miles of well-kept trails winding through dense forests and tall mountains. The East Shore Trail is Prompton State Park's longest trail, extending 4.5 miles toward the Prompton Dam. It connects to many other trails in the park, including the Western Shore Trail, Cliff Trail and Eagle Pass. 

These rocky Prompton State Park trails also serve as an exciting place to get the blood pumping with some fast-paced mountain biking. The area is open from dawn to dusk, offering ample time to stretch your legs, dip in cool waters or enjoy a serene picnic.
