From I-20 midway between Atlanta and Augusta, take Exit 130, GA-44 W 5 miles to Carey Station Road. Turn right on Carey Station Road and travel 5.1 miles to the campground on the left.
From the north take US-129 S/US-441 S/GA-15 S. Turn left onto GA-12W/US-278 W/W Broad St for 3 miles, Turn right onto Carey Station Road for 2.7 miles to the campground on your right.
From the south take GA-44 E to Carey Station Road, turn left on Carey Station Road 5.1 miles on the left.

We are so excited for another year that we get to spend at the lake and 2024 is going to be the best one yet! 2024 is going to be jam pack full of new activities, more projects, exciting surprises, and never seen before events. Some things to start looking forward to include, but are not limited to, welcoming the Coffee Train, monthly rates so you can enjoy the lake longer than ever, stand-up comedy shows, and revamps of several buildings!
Starting this spring you can wake up not only to your favorite view of Lake Oconee, but also the smell of fresh brewed organic coffee. Coffee Train will be located inside the entrance train car, across the street from our Nature Center, with the best coffee you will ever try and some great company to enjoy it with.
We will be offering monthly rates to anyone who is interested in staying at the lake for longer than just a few days. You can call the front desk at 706-453-4505 or email nsl_reservations@travelresorts.com for rates, dates, and any questions you may have.
Activities will be at an all-time high with live music and special guests every single month! Be sure to check out our Events Calendar, posted on Facebook and campersAPP, to start planning ahead on what weekends you won’t want to miss. Be sure to mark your calendars and book as soon as you can to ensure you are a part of all the fun.
This year is going to be filled with some of our most exciting projects yet. Without giving away ALL our surprises, let's just say, the Clubhouse is overdue for a makeover.
