Wonderful KOA campground located in a beautiful area surrounded by gorgeous views. Site was great - very level and conveniently located to amenities. Laundry facility was clean and spacious. 5 stars - highly recommended campground. Enjoyed our six night stay ! Thank you : )

Overall, the park is great. Bathrooms were cleaned throughout the day and the grounds were beautiful. The only complaint was the extremely poor WiFi technology.

Fantastic! Great all the way around. So much to do! The Staff if very professional and kind, and customer friendly! We enjoyed the folks at the UTV center! Great people!

Clean, and very nice place, but no cell phone reception, internet is slow, construction on main road. Very nice people work here, bathrooms were clean, grounds are very well maintained. We just could not communicate via text or cell phone with people. This place is in a valley and needs a cell tower.

Great Campground. Good location for the attractions. Staff was great and very informative. Cell service T mobile was poor and campground wifi was good for checking emails but spotty for streaming. I would stay again.

We arrived about 530 and had a meal outside at the peak so we could bring our little dog. Our space was great and koa was just 5 .miles away and we enjoyed the moving evening presentation at the monument Breakfast at the nearby pancake tent Was yummy Electric, water and sewer well located for our 40 ft allegro bus and towed

The Campground was beautiful. It 's amenities were great too. Great paths for our puppy. Store, restaurant (The Peak) , ice cream shop, fudge store etc. We went horseback riding at their stables. The guides were wonderful and the trail was beautiful. The Campground was also close to local attractions. Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Monument, town shops etc. We enjoyed our stay.

Wow! Top notch KOA resort, way more than expected. Wish our spot would have been a little larger and on flat ground for or 39 ft motorhome with double slides. But... wow again! Beautiful setting, quiet night and so many activities for everyone.

Supposedly I picked a partial hookup spot, no sewer. I had to move and pay for an upgrade. This is a kid friendly park, but left a lot to be desired for us seniors. Many outside places require reservations online, but the wi-fi here is horrible. I noticed the day before leaving, someone installing wi-fi repeaters around the park. Too late for my stay. I stayed paid the full price without wi-fi.

The bad: were disappointed that the Kid’s Fun Zone was closed. We were not told that ahead of our reservation. The restrooms and showers need renovation. The good: The staff was great! We also enjoyed the activities that were open.

Construction everywhere. Half the amenities they advertise weren’t available for use. Site was primitive and retained water. Booked 6 months in advance and office staff actually put us on a lesser spot and then only issued a meager credit. Nice to be in the middle of everything but likely won’t stay there again.

Poolhot tubs and waterslide were closed and lfilled with greenish brown water. My site had a 15 foot long 6-8 inch deep tire rut dividing the camper parking and the picnic table. Huge sunken area that turned into a puddle where we were had to park the car i almost couldnt get out of after a night of rain. Showers were in poor condition. Appears to have potential, huge staff, but disappointing.

Bigger isn’t always better.We came from IL and weren’t told the resort was under construction; half the amenities weren’t even available. I booked last 8 months in advance and there was confusion on which site and I was placed on a lesser site and then issued a meager credit for their error. Mount Rushmore KOA Resort at Palmer Gulch is amazing! It is right in the middle of Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, and Crazy Horse. The employees were very helpful in helping us navigate the surroundings! We definitely would stay here again if we are ever back this way and would recommend it to family and friends.

To many kids running all over. And lots of pitbulls running all over . We had a pit next to us barked all the time . If you have kids this is your place if not run . But the park has everything for a family to have a great time . Watch out for large dogs . Shepherd s pit bulls lots of them .

The positives: The resort is nice w/ amenities such as a pool, hot tub, golf course, pickle ball and basketball court, playgrounds and bounce area. The negatives: basketballs need to be replaced. They are horrible and all completely smooth. The cleanliness around the activities area could be better as sand was all on the sidewalk. Also, the traffic with all sorts of vehicles was heavy all the time

Only one pool was open. The mini golf putters gave kids fiberglass slivers several times until we said they cannot play it again. Lots of construction still happening.

Everything was great. The only suggestion is being more clear on the length of the trailer and rv spots. I noticed many patrons struggling to get their equipment to fit.

We stayed in the campground. Wonder place for families. No shortage of activities for the kids! The entire campus was clean and well kept! Every staff member we interacted with was fantastic!

Fun, good place to camp or stay. You can have tents, rent a cabin, or bring your own RV/travel trailer. Awesome place to stay. At the resort they have restaurants and other shops. From 7:00am to 10:30am, they have breakfast with all sorts of things. They also have an All You Can Eat Pancakes. Nice staff! Highly recommend to stay here. Looking to go next summer as well 😊.

Stayed here in a pull through, full hook up camping site. We loved our time here as is was an EXCELLENT location near several hiking trailheads (15 min from Sylvan Lake) and Needles Highway. The campsites were clean and there was a lot for kids to do here. My only complaints is that the campsites were small and many large rigs ended up parking their vehicles on the grass of their campsites and the dog park was tiny. We ended up taking our dog elsewhere to run and spend time off leash. Overall, a great stay.
