4.25. never stayed at K.O.A. before. got basic cabin, then realized had to get bunch of supplies. never had my own house with property before, so that was neat. friendly people, knoledgeable & easygoing staff, lots of property to roam, activities to do was nice. some zones a bit unkempt, & paid bit more then i wanted to, but that's okay. arcade outdated, but spent lots of $ on big buck hunter pro

Very disappointed in our cabin. Toilet ran continuously. The bathroom door was off track, couldn't pull it shut with out a horrible noise. Could not sleep on the bed and if I did dose the bathroom door noise immediately woke me when my husband needed the bathroom. Also NO hot water. Cabin next door wasn;t occupied but light on and air conditioner ran. Too expensive! This KOA not maintained well

We showed up at the campground about 10 minutes before a severe thunderstorm hit and took out all of the power and Wi-Fi. The entire team was so friendly and so accommodating! They all provided an amazing experience, with smiles and upbeat attitudes! I loved all of the craft offerings that Carol provided, and loved how much this campground felt like home, even though it was our first time!

I live staying at Newburgh/ NYC KOA Holiday. The staff is very professional and accommodating. The facilities are cleaned many times during the day. The amenities keep my grandson active and engaged. We can’t wait to return!

All of the employees were super helpful and kind! I do want to mention you have a security guard who was working the night shift on the night of 9/4, and he was verbally assaulted and treated poorly by some drunk campers. I was impressed he kept his composure and resolved the issue. That man deserves a raise!

We really enjoyed our stay at Newburgh KOA. The bike rentals were fun, there were enough activities to keep the kids busy and the pool was a hit. We also enjoyed the pancake breakfasts. It's a lovely location. The bathroom doors can use fixing, and the dog park can be a bit bigger, but for the most part, it was a great experience.

I would rate this place all high scores, the only downfall was the bathrooms. It is a huge campground. Fun activities, nice and woodsie sites, nice surround area. BUT they only had 2 small bathrooms with about 4 stalls. With the amount of people staying there it was always messy. Not to mention if your site is far away from the bathroom it makes for a long scary walk to a dirty bathroom.

I had a very bad experience during my stay. There were bugs in my cabin that bit me, my husband, my 11-eleven-year-old nephew, and my sister that have created wounds in our legs and itch non-stop. Couldn't enjoy the stay or relax, which was the purpose of our trip. After notifying the staff, someone came in and just wiped one mattress and nothing was disinfected. Every night it got worse.

Overall we had a pleasant stay but you can tell there is a staffing shortage. No one picked up our garbage outside our cabin for over two days. Shower pressure in cabin was very poor. Not many camping activities for kids. No lifeguards at pool. We have been coming to KOA for over 10 years but are probably going to Jellystone more frequently. Very sad about it.

Camp sites are super close together. Website says 1 car per site but it's not regulated whatsoever. Huge party across from us with cars rolling in with 8-10 people piled inside each one and double parking as well as parking in other people's sites. Staff says there's nothing they can do about it. Public bathrooms are sparse with only 3 toilets in the women's room. Not much of a camping experience

This is my second time staying at Newburg KOA, cabin was amazing and love the staff especially the texting service. I’m so happy I stayed here to work on completing the fire tower challenge in the Catskills. Less driving and having a comfortable place to stay that affordable is right up my alley. While I could sleep because of a large group ignoring the silent hours, I read a few other low reviews about the same problem occurring in the past. I left before the office even opened the next day and forfeited my last night. This camping is so far from KOA family values that it should not bear that name.

I really wanted to like this place so I’ll start with the good: clean cabins, good amenities for kids. Here are our issues: bathroom was EXTREMELY far from our cabin and usually very dirty, no enforcement of quiet hours even at 3am (supposedly you can call after hours office but no one picked up when I did), and someone stole our chairs off our porch. It’s just that kind of place unfortunately

Staff on check-in was friendly and easy. Then the cabin. Clearly not cleaned well or at all. Floor was filthy, really needs to be washed/mopped, not just swept. Food and debris in all the corners. Dirt on beds, ac vents caked in dust, etc. The atmosphere, plenty of partying hard going on. Weed smoke everywhere, heavy drinkers roaming drinking down 40's in bottles, loud music and bass.

I feel that the rooms we a lil dirty upon arrival.. been going there for a long time and felt like the place changed a lot compared to back than…can’t explain well but felt the atmosphere was less exciting… they also closed the restaurant part and now we have to stand on a line like in school to get the pancakes… plus I think stops the extra food options you use to get in morning besides p

The cabin was very dusty and dirty. The table was covered in something sticky. Bathrooms were far away from the cabin.

I stayed with my grandson August 1-4. We had a very nice cabin. People were great, location was great, and place was very clean. the only down was our shower, but it did not spoil our stay.

Very pleasant. I had caped with a tent before, so the experience this time by taking a cabin, was definitely different. I loved that the cabin was located close to all the activities and both pools. I absolutely loved that it was not hidden under the trees, but in the sun. Cabin cleanliness could have been better. Overall I’m very satisfied. A bit pricey, but worth the peace and nature you get.

Our stay was great! We stayed in a cabin with our three kids they had a blast would definitely stay again! Bathrooms were clean so were showers. Staff was sooo nice and and attentive. We even left one child’s table behind on accident they recovered it for us. Can’t wait to stay again!

Wished cleaning was better before ck in. Fridge had meat blood, toilet dirty, front glass door a lot fingerprints/dirt, grill & fire pit had meat on it. I spent first hour scrubbing all. For the price pd, I would not expect tht. Pool great/other changes on property made up for it. Disappointed no snack bar food or icecream anymore. Only cooked food available is the pancakes etc. Store great/snacks

Very disappointed. Cabin was filthy upon arrival. Had to be re- cleaned. No hot water. Faucets trickled. Bathroom light didn’t work. The remote was missing upon arrival and then wouldn’t turn the tv off. If you moved in the bed it made a horrendous noise. Spoke with manager the second day about issues and not receiving any apology. Still no compensation. Very disappointed.

We stayed in your Luxury cabin 3. The couch had absolutely No springs in it. If we wanted to sleep on the floor, we would have camped in a tent. We ended up sleeping on the floor. You advertised as 3 bdrm futon/sleeper sofa. There was no 3rd bdrm. Extremely disappointing. Good thing we brought our spaghetti pot from home. You had 2 colanders and no pot!! Pool was great. Kids had fun. Never again

My only issues was the mosquitoes made it impossible to be outside at night. Please spray the campground. We were a party of 7 campers and I stayed in a cabin. Unfortunately because of them we will not be returning

Beautiful, relaxing park in the woods! Gals in the office bent over backward to move us to a spot that would fit our large big rig camper better that the spot that we had picked. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Bravo!
