Had a great time and enjoyed all the amenities and activities that we wanted We would like to see that possibly the power services are updated . We loved the area where we were and have booked the same area again. Unfortunately there were issues with the breakers and believe with all the larger units being purchased to enjoy stays at the camp it would be appreciated that they get upgraded.

We stayed four months this winter and experienced multiple power, water and cable outages while paying a premium for our site. While some improvements are slowly being made to the resort, the children’s playground has been out of commission for several years. Seems like that should be a priority for a campground that has families visit.

Excellent site layout, size, hookups, separation, landscape, and campground amenities. Clean and well maintained. Very friendly staff. Worth the money.

Amenities were great. Some improvements could be made (e.g.Concrete on many pads were broken, dog park is small). Overall, adult pool was nice! Separate pool for kids/families was a plus! Bar, food, and camp store are on the property, so you don't have to leave. Stores nearby for anything they didn't supply. Pet friendly (for all breeds and sizes)! Big O trail for walking/biking nearby. Good time!

We’ve spent winters there for 9 years. Love the park & amenities. Great staff! Wish campers were allowed to volunteer to help with more activities/events. It is our home and we like to be involved.

The staff that you have works really hard with no permanent manager on staff. Andrea is awesome at entertainment!! The water was out way too much this year. Your grounds need some repairs like signage out front with no light. Faded KOA flags. Burned out up lights at front entrance. The street signs have words missing. Buildings need color updates. Need new weight lifting equipment in gym.

Love the people, RV`s.... Hate the Electric, box blew up in the middle of the night close by. NO new sign as promised, grass cut once a month, trimming terrible, water on and off constantly, then boil for days, electric off and on. WIFI is worthless, washer and dryers always broke, terrible drainage, and you raised the rates.

The adult pool water was not heated as previous years, it was colder and less comfortable. It made my stay less enjoyable.

The place is the ultimate! Great staff, facilities & so many amenities & activities. We were never bored! Keep this place a KOA forever! We love it.

Too many “Sorry for the inconvenience “ notifications to rate at 5 star. No WIFI to available to purchase the whole time we were there, I understand it’s a 3rd party provider but it is advertised as available & very inconvenient when on an extended stay. The Corp that now owns this site seem to have little respect for their staff or KOA values. The People & Staff will keep us coming back.

Always enjoy returning to see old friends. All the employees work hard to keep the campground operating smoothly. A few of the “new” rules I did not agree with but will probably be back next year.

We really like this campground. On the positive side there are an abundance of activities to keep you entertained. The staff is wonderful and everyone is very friendly. On the negative side, there is a shortage of staff that needs to be addressed. The laundry machines are abysmal. They are constantly breaking down. Also, the playground needs to be addressed. It is sad that it is unavailable to use

The staff at this park are amazing and I suspect greatly underpaid and under appreciated by the park owners! Many water interruptions, cable interruptions, no internet! They smiled through it all. The park is in desperate need of upgrading. Laundry facilities are hit and miss. On the high side great activities and many wonderful friends to spend our winter with

4 month stay. Very happy with site and activities. Our pad carpet was shredded by lawn people, office was informed, nothing done. Overall enjoyed my stay.

Ever since this park was purchased by Encore RV Resorts it has gone downhill. The employees, while understaffed, are great but the management is horrible and has turned over about 3 times. Washers and dryers are always broke, electric and water shut off constantly. Facilities close early due to understaffing. After 6 years we will not be returning.

Three months wasn't long enough! Love the park. So many amenities! Just need to upgrade the spots & laundry. Staff are SUPER nice!!! Close to shopping & places to eat.

It is a great park. A lot of changes with new management. Don't mind paying for the services but when you have no wifi and no cable for the first 3 weeks, it was annoying. Washer and dryers were broken often. The power was shut off several times, the water was shut off several time, then boil alerts. The KOA staff are super. Great activities, they make the park great. Bring back the old park.

Camping needs a lot of upgrading. No kids park, cement pads all broken, Picnic tables need to be replaced for plastic tops and be able to sit 4 comfortbly. Shuffle board needs upgrading. Beautiful park that needs lovin.

There needs to be a lot of electrical improvements made which has been promised over the yeas but very slow to see any major progress. Water and sewer issues just need to upgrade all site connections. The park and people both workers and campers are all very friendly. Lots to do with 2 pools and all the activities.

We love coming here and the staff have been wonderful. Didn’t love our first site because of the shade and the constant shower of leaves and bird poop and the concrete pad is broken up and a bit dangerous but we have asked for a different site when we put our deposit down for 2025. Love this resort and the activities and amenities and our neighbours were amazing ♥��

Active campground with lots of activities and things to do. We stayed for 3 months and liked it so much that we reserved for next year. Campground is very close to stores and 2 flea markets within walking distance. All the staff are friendly and helpful.

+ Great activities Pickle Ball & pool’s. would love to see a “Quilting” group started. Looking forward to next winter & seeing our friends. _ serious flooding issues when it rains that need to be addressed.

Employees are terrific! Specifically Becca, Elizabeth, and Jeff. It is apparent that some infrastructure work is required and the laundry facilities need to be kept in good repair, also noticed internet poles leaning etc. still love the resort it has so much to offer!!

The staff was excellent however, the facilities are not being maintained well. We had flooding at our campsite due to drains being paved over. Site pads are broken and displaced. Roads need resurfacing, we had multiple power outages and an 8 hour water shutoff. Rates are up by over 50% with no increase in ammenities. Reservations for this year were very difficult but those for next yr seem better

We like the Okeechobee KOA and will return however there were a lot of infrastructure problems this year and the increasing prices while perhaps understandable do not appear to be making significant improvements. Policy changes about booking, prices was often difficult as well as wanting to know if we can get the same site was problematic. Staff are kind and helpful but additional staff needed!

We totally enjoyed our 4 months here. Liz and Kori are both so nice and go out of their way to help you. Andrea in the mailroom is an angel! My only complaint is that there is no playground for the kids to enjoy and half of the washing machines don't work. Get those two things fixed and it will be perfect!

Pros - beautiful clean cabin with cold ac, stocked with linens, pillows, shower necessities, and a Keurig. My kids loved having their own side room with bunk beds. Each day staff would send a text of upcoming activities which was great. Very clean campground. Flea market, Lake Okeechobee, Walmart, Publix and Dunkin' are right next door. Cons - playground was under construction, pool was refreshing but the water became very warm especially the 1ft toddler pool. Only two shade screens and two umbrellas on the family pool deck leaving many chairs in the blistering sun (90+ degrees). Pool pavement was too hot. WIFI is not free. KOA staff were great and did a great job reminding guests of the pool rules. Thank you Lake Okeechobee KOA for great weekend away!

I have been coming to this KOA more than 20 years. It has definitely changed. Elizabeth at front desk is amazing. Cabin was clean. While I see they have made some improvements recently. The family pool was covered in bugs floating around large piles gross not even a net around as we was going to clean it ourselves. Some of the workers seemed as if they didn't want to work but wanted paid for it. It was Care camp weekend pool was full of kids my daughter was the only one who knew about the activity and participated. The old activity director used to yell around the pool to advertise she wanted people to come. At BINGO I went in guy running it said yes I said I'm checking on BINGO he said yes if anyone comes and I need more than 2 people once again pool was full but no advertising so I got my whole family of 5 to go in so my daughter could play BINGO. He even made a comment to his friend he was busy talking to well I guess I have to do BINGO. Lots of complaining about nobody doing activities but the past Activities director advertised shouting it at the pool area for families. My son was missing the Hungry Man breakfast as it was always his favorite on the menu he was sad to see it changed.
