Directions from I-40: Take exit 407 and go south on Highway 66/Winfield Dunn Parkway for 8.4 miles.Turn left on 411 north/Dolly Parton Parkway.Continue on Dolly Parton Parkway and turn right on 449/Veterans Blvd.Go 5.8 miles and KOA is on the right.
Directions from Cherokee, North Carolina: Take US 441 North through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park for 31 miles. Continue straight through Gatlinburg for 5 miles. Once in Pigeon Forge, turn right at traffic light #8 onto Dollywood Lane, go through the next traffic light and KOA will be on the left.
In Pigeon Forge: Turn east off US 441 at traffic light #8 onto Dollywood Lane, go through the next traffic light and KOA will be on the left.

Here are three unusual things to do in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.
If you have ever wanted to speed around in a hamster ball, you will love zorbing. This activity involves rolling down Tennessee's hills in an 11-foot transparent ball. The ball has two layers, minimizing bumpiness to create a fun trip down the hillsides. The ball also has water in the inner layer to control its motion.
The activity began in New Zealand, and Outdoor Gravity Park offers the only United States location where you can enjoy this exciting sport. The park has three tracks to provide a one-of-a-kind experience for every rider.
Goats on the Roof is a unique thing to do in Pigeon Forge. As the name implies, this attraction features plenty of cute goats living on the roof. At the location, you can feed, pet and view the goats. To bring food up to the rooftops, you use a conveyor system called the Goat Cycle.
You can also check out the Goat Coaster, a self-controlled alpine coaster or do some gem mining to find valuable stones. Once you finish exploring, stop by the gift shop for goat-themed souvenirs and other fun buys.
Salt and pepper shakers come in many shapes and colors and have existed since ancient times. At this museum, you can check out over 20,000 salt and pepper shakers dating back to ancient times, the 1500s, 1800s and more recent decades. You can learn the history of salt and pepper shakers and admire the artistry of the collection.
The museum is owned by Andrea and Rolf Ludden and has another sister location in Spain. A small admission fee also goes toward a salt and pepper shaker purchase at the gift shop so you can bring the fun home.
