Office supposedly closed at 6pm. We arrived before 6pm and office was dark, locked and staff long gone. So no WiFi code. No bathroom code. Just a site number. And bathrooms were open a whopping 6-8am and 8-10pm. Wow. This is a place simply to stay overnight and catch some zzz's and leave. Ownership clearly doesn’t go the regular mile let alone the extra mile. Would not recommend to anyone. SMH

Our stay was excellent! Everyone is very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The grounds are well kept. The showers are very clean. All around Great place to stay.

It would be nice if you had some pull throughs that would accommodate not having to disconnect from your trailer for overnight stays.

The site next to us had three barking dogs and after they left they also left a lot of dog poop. The site was not cleaned after they left and a new camper came in. When we got to our site there was a lot of cigarette butts. The park had litter all over. I just can’t believe no one is responsible for cleaning camp spots after campers leave. I

Plenty of space. Scenic view. Nice facilities with private showers. Friendly staff are very welcoming. Close proximity to restaurants and casino.

The park is not well maintained. Out site had garbage, dog crap and huge rocks in the site. We've stayed there often in the past and no cable TV for 1 - 2 yrs. "They're working on it". We stay in a lot of KOA's and this is the least desirable.

Very disappointed in accessibility to restroom and shower facilities before and after certain hours. Tried to use the toilet before 6:00am and was denied access until after 6. Was also confronted by security when trying to use the key code.

While conveniently located and friendly staff, the infrastructure was worn and not kept up. The bath and shower facilities were limited to specific times. There was no internet service available. The cost should have reflected any inconvenience.

The RV Spots were very small. There was garbage on the ground at our spot.

There was dog poop all over the park and the guest don't pick up after their pets and did not see any staff working in the park doing anything during our stay

Just one night. Very nice young man at Check in. Was able to call security for a ride to the casino. I would stay again. Stayed in a 5th wheel and did not have to unhook.

Good location. Clean, neat, well policed by security. Quiet. Spaces were not side-by-side. But like some other KOA campgrounds, dog owners just walk their dogs right up on the grass next to your trailer. Some parks I've stayed at make it clear: no dogs on the grass.

Campground was dirty. Picnic table was so poorly maintained that getting splinters was inevitable.

Everybody was super nice & accommodating. It would’ve been nice prior to our stay to have been informed that there was no cable and no Internet (for kids that needed to do homework). And the hot tub wasn’t available

Great place love the private shower/ bathroom. The internet was horrible and no bathrooms after hours, but we love the place and plan making that our go to place when we go to Reno.

We were a last min booking, the booking process was great. The pads and spaces are ok, Picnic tables are a little tired. The largest problem was the electricity, there were voltage spikes all night and our Progressive EMS - PT30X Surge Protector kept shutting off power to protect our RV (Which I am very thankful for). This made for a very uncomfortable night when I was looking for some rest.

The gentleman at the front desk was both very pleasant and helpful, despite apparently working 12 hour shifts.

The camp ground has changed over the past 9 years. IT IS STILL A SAFE PLACE TO STAY. some stays I want to help out n cut the grass and do some trimming! People behind the desk are always nice. We look forward to our next stay.

Each site is a 55 foot, full service, asphalt, pull-thru site. Reno KOA at Boomtown has an incredibly helpful office manager.

Larry was incredibly helpful! We were stressed about not being able to travel west due to a snow storm as planned but Larry made our stress go away! Gave us a great spot for the night! Thank you Larry and KOA!

The check-in staff was very accommodating. We have a 43 ft Class A. Some of the sites are not very level side to side, and he happily moved us after we checked in.

Do you need a place to stay for the night? Plenty of spots open when we came in without a reservation bathrooms were big and clean. Staff was super friendly. Make sure you bring your leveling blocks.

This was our second time staying here, first time in 2021 boy how things change. New housing development right next door. Kinda sad how progress changes the view. It’s still really beautiful here. Staff is very nice but a few of the residents here aren’t. They speed through the park, they don’t pick up after their dogs and they don’t abide by quiet times. I definitely would stay here again

Very nice camp hosts. The park is clean but noisy, no cable TV and the Internet was down. I was told that they were in the progress of upgrading their systems.

Fit my class a 35ft old gal without issues the hook ups and the tree on the opposite side made me pull forward more but when I did a walk around befor opening my slides I notice it was meant for you to pull up a hair more and fit nicely. The 50amp hook up had no burn mark and feels solid. The water hook up was around 40psi. Still need to use surge protection and pressure regulator for a peace of mind when things go foobar. The sewage hook up, I had some trouble getting my line screwed on but luckly got it to screw on nice and snug and had no kaka accidents. Shockingly data speed for T-Mobile was super fast, I do not know if the camp ground put boosters for cells or the T-Mobile signal is just strong and fast. I got 500mbps however it had a slow upload speed of around 10mbps (cell phone end) but good enough to run my gaming laptop. The wifi was slower but solid and great for basic YouTube or a quick game when you are not out n about. Now for the staffs that a whole new story. They were unbelievable nice ☺️ I had a good time chatting with them getting information about the area and them asking how my well-being was doing for my travels to this camp ground. They also informed me on some deals at boomtown too! My only sadness was their website said pool and hottub was open but it wasnt going to be open till friday and i check out Thursday😕. I will be looking forward to comming back a few times a year, I like the area, like the condition of the camp grounds and the 3 staffs I spoked to doing my stay were very nice and one was very chill and another makes you feel welcomed and excited to have you here. Boomtown KOA is awesome! Thank you to all of the office team who provided us with kind and timely service. Having propane refills onsite was great and the bathrooms were super clean. The park is nicely laid out and the pull throughs have some grass. We didn't use everything, but our experience with what we did use was positive.

We read the reviews of this site and we started to have concerns of its quality, thank goodness we ignored them. The campground is nestled in a valley between hills, it is true it is mainly tarmac but all sites have enough room for sitting out and have tables for client use. There are lots of trees and some sites have grassy areas next to them. There are 7 very clean and modern individual bathrooms available between 8am to 7pm, 2 additional bathrooms are available from 6am to 10pm, so you will need to use your own facilities outside these hours. Staff are helpful and friendly. What else do you need!
