It was good except for the security guard who drives through the park with his lights on in the middle of the night wakes us up with the lights . Security guards I think are a good thing but be thoughtful of the tenants.

Excellent campground but they do not have cable or reliable wifi. Very disappointed.when we reserved it we were told everything worked.

We enjoyed our stay@ 58A, our favorite spot with a lovely view of the Truckee River & surrounding mountains. The KOA staff was pleasant & very helpful. James & staff assisted us when our water connection was leaking. They tightened it in a few minutes. We were very thankful. The grounds have also been improved and that was also nice. Thank you to Verdi KOA and staff. The Fischers

The grounds need to be kept in better condition. There was dog poop on most grass areas. The people next to us must have been extended guest as they had their belongings and trash all over their site. They kept one of their dogs in a crate outside for a good portion of the day. TV was spotty and was told that it does not work in all sites. This is hands down the worst KOA/RV park we’ve stayed at

My stay was everything. I hoped it would be. I had to drop my wife off at the airport the next morning it was convenient. The people were extremely nice. There was a place to eat at the casino. I would definitely stay there again if I going through the area.

I’d never been to a KOA before. It was very clean, the staff were super helpful and kind. The parking spot was close to level. Conveniently located for a one-night’s stay. The whole place was well maintained.

Site is very good, clean and near Reno without the hustle of being in a city. Washing machines were impeccable, pools were cleaned daily. Employees were awesome, they took very good care of us and went beyond their duties to make our stay as great as it was.

Clean oasis in Reno. Nice check-in. Level?-paved spot required 4 1/1 inches to level l to r. Maybe I wasn't in the sweet spot. Very dog friendly! Grass spots are irrigated and have doggy bag stations in several areas. Owners need to clean up after their dogs or we'll lose this privilege. Full-timers are mostly located in one section of the campground. Walk to casino/up hill/nice.

Absolutely the worst koa ever! It’s full of full time residents. It’s a dirty disgusting trailer park. The employees put us next to their friends that live there full time. It’s nothing but a dirty parking lot. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy

Grounds were attractive and appeared to be well maintained. Staff was very helpful. Area was well lit with security passing through on a regular basis. Internet is advertised as available however it was not working in any reliable fashion.

We came for the races....Our lot had old dog feces on it and was not raked or hosed clean. Some of the residents that were long term had messy lots that detracted from the resort. Other than that, we had a good stay.

This is the second year in a row we have been there and again their Wi-if does not work and their cable tv does not work! You would think after 2 years they would get the problem solved or advertise it doesn’t work. When you check in they even tell you it’s not your equipment that is is not working it is ours. First of all, we're in America, we speak English here, your survey doesn't need to be in multiple languages. Secondly, with only two bathroom/ showers for the entire rv park of 200 + spaces only open from 0800 thru 1730 is ridiculous, especially for $60 @ night. Sorry, not impressed, won't be back.

This KOA is a nice and clean facility. We appreciated its proximity to the Lake Tahoe area. We will plan to return soon!

The resort is in a great place, and has good extras like the pool and hot tub, but there are too many restrictions. Why is there no smoking at the tables in the pool? And the bathrooms should be open 24 hours - no lock. They said it was because of homeless people. If they really need to take a shower, let them. And the reason of needles or drug paraphernalia on the floor is not valid -pick it up

Campsite was up against a small chain link fence that overlooks the river and would have had a great view were it not for the trash and weeds up against the fence. Very (very) disappointed that there is only one restroom facility and extremely (extremely) disappointed that it had limited hours -totally unsatisfactory.

It is very clean and nice wide spaces and staff very helpful, but… If your wanting Wi-Fi or cable tv or even need Wi-Fi this isn’t the place. We stopped here last year and same problem they don’t work and the staff even tell you it’s their equipment not yours. I need Wi-Fi for work and have to go to the nearby casino lobby for Wi-fi. I had booked a stay well in advance and asked for a shade tree,when we got there,we were given a spot#116 next to #117 with a shade tree and no occupant we were disappointed and our pooches suffered the heat,and we were parked far away from the doggy run which also had no shade or water,very dissapointed!

Higher rates than most. Construction in area making it traveler unfriendly. Clean showers and restrooms close at 7 pm leaving just two dirty restrooms to use. Will not be staying there again.

Not welcoming. Host does not escort you to your site. Showers/bathroom dirty - don't feel it was from people traffic but lack of staff cleaning as needed when campground full. My site had trash. It was 046 facing the beautiful Truckee River. A shame staff didn't take care to pick up beverage can and misc trash close to the fence. Liked Boomtown location. Scenic. Other RV folks nice.

No cable available , asked not to use AC because of old equipment. Lawn not green. Not very professional to ask a paying customer to use the facilities they are paying for.

Fit my class a 35ft old gal without issues the hook ups and the tree on the opposite side made me pull forward more but when I did a walk around befor opening my slides I notice it was meant for you to pull up a hair more and fit nicely. The 50amp hook up had no burn mark and feels solid. The water hook up was around 40psi. Still need to use surge protection and pressure regulator for a peace of mind when things go foobar. The sewage hook up, I had some trouble getting my line screwed on but luckly got it to screw on nice and snug and had no kaka accidents. Shockingly data speed for T-Mobile was super fast, I do not know if the camp ground put boosters for cells or the T-Mobile signal is just strong and fast. I got 500mbps however it had a slow upload speed of around 10mbps (cell phone end) but good enough to run my gaming laptop. The wifi was slower but solid and great for basic YouTube or a quick game when you are not out n about. Now for the staffs that a whole new story. They were unbelievable nice ☺️ I had a good time chatting with them getting information about the area and them asking how my well-being was doing for my travels to this camp ground. They also informed me on some deals at boomtown too! My only sadness was their website said pool and hottub was open but it wasnt going to be open till friday and i check out Thursday😕. I will be looking forward to comming back a few times a year, I like the area, like the condition of the camp grounds and the 3 staffs I spoked to doing my stay were very nice and one was very chill and another makes you feel welcomed and excited to have you here. Boomtown KOA is awesome! Thank you to all of the office team who provided us with kind and timely service. Having propane refills onsite was great and the bathrooms were super clean. The park is nicely laid out and the pull throughs have some grass. We didn't use everything, but our experience with what we did use was positive.

We read the reviews of this site and we started to have concerns of its quality, thank goodness we ignored them. The campground is nestled in a valley between hills, it is true it is mainly tarmac but all sites have enough room for sitting out and have tables for client use. There are lots of trees and some sites have grassy areas next to them. There are 7 very clean and modern individual bathrooms available between 8am to 7pm, 2 additional bathrooms are available from 6am to 10pm, so you will need to use your own facilities outside these hours. Staff are helpful and friendly. What else do you need!
