Beautiful well kept grounds, views on all sides!! Staff were very nice and helpful and rest rooms and showers were very clean…,,,we couldn’t be happier to have stayed there and hope to come back !!

Our glamping tent was supposed to come with two cots. It only had one, with a mouse nest and mouse! The staff was very friendly and helpful, they are just understaffed. The bathrooms were way too far away, there needs to be at least a bathroom closer to the north end of the site. The women's room wasn't cleaned the whole time we were there. The floors were filthy, soap and paper towels empty.

It’s a wonderful campground with lots of activities for kids! Friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, comfortable cabins and centrally location to enjoy the Royal Gorge Train, Bridge & Park, Arkansas River and so much more! We’ll see you next year!

It was very nice campground, great views. The showers are small and the water is mislabeled, Cold is hot. We stayed in a cabin with a 1/2 bath that was nice. The only down side was the bunk bed mattresses were better than the full bed mattress. The grounds were nice and seemed pretty well maintained. Watch for the ants though, they are huge and every where. We will be returning! Loved it

The staff was great in all respects-helpful with questions and problems and they do a great job keeping the place clean and the sites in order. However, the pool closed the day we arrived and that was one of the main reasons for staying there. The wifi was inconsistent at best and down 1 full day. Cell coverage was nonexistent the entire time we were there. Prior visit was better.

I did not get the name of the girl who went above and beyond on the day of my arrival, but she had long hair and feather earrings. She went above and beyond to help me find the right spot for me. I was not comfortable with the bunk beds in my original location, since I was traveling alone and this person personally showed me different options for my stay. She made me feel as though I was family.

Fantastic location! We stayed in a deluxe cabin. The full size mattress was very thin. Luckily it was just the 2 of us so we stacked the bunk bed mattresses on top which made it much better. Longer/darker curtains would be nice to block out the morning sun. We enjoyed the activities (horseshoes, mini golf and slide).

This is our 2nd time staying here. We stayed in the deluxe cabin. The sleeper couch isn't very comfy, you can feel every spring, but is doable for kids. The small room with bunk beds gets a little warm, but the rest of the cabin stays nice and cool with the AC provided. Our shower and fridge weren't cleaned or wiped down before we arrived (kinda gross) but whatever. Overall we love our stay here.

We had rented two nights as an RV sight but our RV broke down and we couldn’t camp there. We happened to be there to see the bridge and thought we’d stop in to see if they had a cabin available. They did and flipped the price of two nights RV sight to 1 night in a cabin that had linens and everything. That was a huge help so we didn’t waste our money on camping that we couldn’t be at AND a

Deluxe cabin was cute and very comfy. The shower was a little touchy alternating between hot and cold, but that's the only annoying thing. Location was great and the folks at reception were very helpful.

The worst place we have stayed! Dirty bedding so we had to go purchase bedding once we got there at WalMart and a tent for my teenager to stay in since there was no ac in the bunk room. Our games stolen on our table outside. And the worst and most traumatizing thing was the escape room. Two of us got heatsick, worker didn’t let us out when we were yelling to be let out. I rate this KOA as middle to lower on the rating scale. This cabin had no swing on the porch- just 2 well used chairs. There was no fire grate or grill, just a fire pit. The pool had no heat so it was pretty much ice cold throughout the day. The playground round about had broken or missing slats. People next cabin to us left early as they had spider bites. Probably would not stay again.

Amazing view and staff is so friendly. We stayed at on of the glamping tents and absolutely loved it. I do wish they cleaned an area where we could put the grill just because there are rocks everywhere and there was no flat ground it was all up hill.

We stayed in a deluxe cabin. It fit our family of 6. Queen bed was very comfortable. Great area. Everything was clean and better than hotel. Mini golf was run down but kids still enjoyed it.

The Deluxe cabin was great. There was a problem with the stairs that was corrected while we were there. The only real complaint we have is the pool was very cold. The location and facilities were good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. overall a great place to stay.

We love "our little cabin"! Stayed there last year and this year while visiting our son. It is the perfect size and so close to a lot of great hiking spots. We love waking up to mountain views!

Stayed in a Kabin-loved how it was stocked with items like a hotel! Enjoyed my coffee in the morning and the soft fluffy towels. Only problem was the porch lights didn’t work (cabin 401A). I informed the desk but no one came out. Also could have used another outdoor chair. Thanks!

The only downfall was that the slide and s’mores were not happening and from your website it seems they are an every day activity. Other than that it had really nice bathrooms and lots of other fun things to do. Great putt putt course. Would definitely come back

Quaint little KOA with the unique perk of the giant slide. Although a more 'aging' KOA, the hosts were friendly and helpful, and the slide and playground were a hit. The pool was small but OK if you don't mind very cold water (not KOA's fault - it's just the climate in the mountains). Only complaint was our cabin didn't have any hot water, and price was high for that miss.

The front door of the cabin blinds were broken. Someone stole 2 bundles of firewood but the KOA employee replaced them free of charge. Our cabin was grossly hot when we arrived. We turned the 2 a/c units on and luckily brought a fan with us.

All the kids' stuff is great, especially the events like the movie/smores night. My kids loved the playground, pool, mini golf, and big slide. The employees were kind and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed in the Camping Cabin the first night and had some electrical issues in the cabin. We informed the Management of the issue and they took care of us and let us move into a nicer cabin that could fit our whole family of six people. We are very satisficed with our stay and would recommend the cabins as they were nice, clean, and very comfortable. The mountain view were spectacular!

Overall I enjoyed the experience here with my family. Arguably the worst part of the KOA was the ladder into the bunk bed of the cabin we rented was so painful that we had to wear shoes to climb it. Also our porch light was missing a bulb. The pool was nice and cold for hot summer days, and the big slide was surprisingly fun. The staff were also great, too.

Royal Gorge KOA was amazing. The staff was friendly, the facilities including pool were clean and up to date. The location was super close to the Royal Gorge Bridge & Park. We especially loved our site which had a private fenced dog pen. I would definitely recommend staying here.
