The place was only OK. I feel the price was too high, just have a place to stay with hook-ups. The place was clean.

it was strange to find the water, sewer and electric hookups near the front of the coach and not near the rear as customary. Luckily we had long enough connections to reach the sources. Also disappointed to see the dog park trash cans full and no bags. we use our own bags and I threw our bags into the commercial trash bin. Otherwise staff was friendly and helpful.

Very friendly and welcoming. Close to town but quiet for the most part. Other KOAs had Saturday night activities such as cookouts or movie night.

The registration gals were very friendly and accommodating. However the facility has been neglected. Bathrooms were dirty and out of TP, toilets plugged. Picnic table was rickety and the pet garbage full and out of bags,

Convenient location to attractions in the area. Bathrooms could use an upgrade (especially showers). Bathrooms were not cleaned daily. Office hours limited, should be more available to guests.

This is my second visit to the Salida KOA. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Sites are good. Not much shade but that's typical of the area, not just this campground. We stayed in a site with full hookups. Water pressure was not good. It was impossible to shower with available pressure. Used water to fill tank and then showered using our own water pump.

Its loud duexto highway. Tent sites are poor, not really a leveled gravel pad. Showerhouse old but clean.

Great friendly staff. I love the size of our site for the night. Not crammed in like a lot of them now days. Wish the store was open a little earlier in the morning

Nice helpful people. Views are great. Close to many passes to cross. Colorado and Continental Divide Trail close by. Would return and stay again. KOA signature building should have been built with bathrooms, checkin, and store. Men's bathroom needs door closer as it is always left open for anyone to use. Seems short staffed. Bathrooms could use outside cleaning service.

The stay was good, would stay there again. However, the water pressure was very poor. The showers and bathrooms need some attention as well. I understand this KOA is in the process of being renovated and is looking good overall.

Great hosts, really good location, excellent view of the night sky with very little light pollution for star gazers. The guest house has an entertainment room, wifi, laundry and shower. However, the quest hose is located at the front of the camp grounds which make for a long walk if you need to make a pit stop. Otherwise, a great place to bivouac while one explores the area.

Tent site J7 has no shade at all. The cost was higher than other KOA's and no pool. I needed to leave a day early but no staff after 4pm and still no staff at 7am. Probably no chance of getting a refund now.

First, when you check in, make sure you are given the code ti unlock the bathrooms/showers. They were unlocked in the evening, but was surprised in the morning! Thankful to a fellow camper who had the code. Also, check out the nonelectric sites are nicer, if you can do without power.

Very run down, poor water pressures, mangers are never there even during times they are suppose to be. Very poor based on KOA’s we have stayed at before

The Tent site was great. The stream is a great place for kids to play. I would come back if we were only staying in tents. The cabins were another story. The queen mattresses in the cabins are awful. We had 2 cabins booked and both mattresses were bad. It ruined the trip for my elderly parents. We come to the Salida area every year, and if my parents come next year we won't be staying here.

The staff was very nice. The tiny house was very clean. Beautiful views of the mountains. Loved looking at the stars at night. Very quite place. We enjoyed it very much. We will definitely stay again.

Campground is good. We didn't have much water pressure for the entire stay. At time not enough flow to run our on demand water heater. Took about 30 min to fill out fresh tank but that made it useable.

This is a nice KOA to stay at, the bathrooms are always as clean as they can be for a public restroom. I stay here every year when I have an art festival in Salida and I will continue to stay here.

I've stayed here many times over the years, and before it came into the KOA family. Mostly, I overnight enroute to my family (did camp several days with a group several years ago). So I know it's more of a rustic campground but beautiful scenery. The host who checked me in was very pleasant and helpful. Wanted to shop next morning but office still closed after 10:30. Restrooms, showers very clean!

Someone at the camp took all our cookware from my campsite while we were out for the day. When I knocked on the camp host's door to get their assistance they would not answer. We had to drive into Salida to buy new cookware, cost almost $70. With many cheaper, better options, we will not stay here again.

Not the KOA Standard! Although new and still being developed, need to put some capital improvements in to meet the Standard. WiFi is not accessible in all of the park, especially the I Row. Water Presser is only about 25 lbs. K9 had no bags for 4 days. Campsites needs TLC, Only one maintenance person working trying to pull weeds, paint, clean. Hire Campworkers to get sites in shape. Expensive!

Great property, good peoole and a cabin with A/C... love it! Only complaint is Kabin 2 picnic table needs repair / replacment ASAP!

This was up at the Mt not far from the KOA. The KOA had great sites for RV and tent. The staff was very kind.
