Friendly staff. I like the unique stair-step arrangement of the RV sites that allowed me to look over the neighbor's rig instead of in their window, and the nice shade over the picnic table. The Wi-Fi was poor beyond about the third row. The bathroom is extremely cramped and tight (like they took the standard KOA bathroom plan and made things smaller).

Great view of the Mountain. Nice level lots and not to packed. Close to many hiking trails, brewerys,and winery's. Wish I had more time.

Beautiful large creek tent site! Nice store; clean bathrooms; nice family hang-out area. 8 a.m. store opening would be ideal, ALL else was wonderful, including staff.

KOA was clean! Office closed too early.. women’s bathroom was good, could use new stall doors.. men’s bathroom needs work.. Wish the bathrooms were more central! I’m 60 and I was very far away.. especially after 10pm.. workers were very nice!

Bev, in the office, was WONDERFUL & accommodating! Our initial tent site was WAY too small, for both our tent & truck. Fortunately, Bev got us into another one. It was a beautiful spot, & there was no level area for our tent... making for a poor night's sleep. I might suggest an "outhouse" of sorts, as the tent sites up high are WAY too far from the restroom, especially in the night.

SIGNIFICANT improvement now that this is a KOA. Definitely heading in the right direction. Cleaner, organized, site amenities/services/layout ALL improved. Strongly recommend this KOA

Very nice, everything was clean. The only disconcerting thing was it seemed all the showers were dripping, waste of water.

Tent sites were very uneven and it was impossible to find a flat spot on them. Lots of rocks. Billing was messed up but staff were trying thier best with the system. Bathrooms were horribly far away from the tent sites (the people who actually use them).

It was a great stay! The Wi-Fi signal was a bit week if you want to work while you’re camping. Otherwise the people are very nice and the campground is very well kept! I will definitely camp here again!

Our towels apparently had not been washed. Had long black hair that was not ours. Would not stay there again.

It’s a very nice campground. It’s well kept up. Very friendly staff. We have a 33 ft coach and pull a pickup. There was plenty of room. It has nice views but no trees in the camping area.

Nice fresh air. Would benefit from a dish-washing station, updated bathrooms/showers, and improved Wi-Fi signal.

The staff were nice. Efficient in their jobs. However the campground itself was sorely lacking. No pool, no activities, simply a place to park your RV, make hookups, and dump your tanks if that's what you require. Whoever owns this franchise ought to do some capital investment if they have any desire to grow the business.

Absolutely beautiful! The campsite was exceptionally clean and the creek was very nice to camp by. The staff (Jennifer) that I met was kind, generous, and informative. Amenities like the community restrooms and showers were clean and excellent for the stay. I have no complaints and I would say, in fact, that the site was far better than what I was expecting for the price point.

Last minute camping trip with our 5 year old grandson turned out to be the greatest fun he's had. We stayed in a tent site on the little creek and had plenty of space. Bathrooms and showers were very well kept and the campgrounds were pretty quiet. We especially loved dodging all the hummingbirds buzzing by! Great place for families, etc. We will definitely return.

My stay here was fine overall, the staff was very nice & friendly. The knocks are distance to Salida being about 15-20 minutes away, the spots were kind of tight and staggered on a hillside. There was a fair amount of wind during my stay and the site offered no protection. The bathrooms were clean & well maintained.

Beautiful location & great team running this newer KOA! So kind and helpful! Greeted with a smile and "Good Morning!" no matter who you encountered! Peaceful setting with an excellent dog park area as well!! We will be back! Thank you!!

We stayed in the campground so that we could visit nearby attractions. The campground is very easy to access and the sites are nice. We enjoyed our stay.

generally nice campground, but the roads in the campground are very narrow. Difficult for longer rigs to navigate, pull in and out of sites. Each site is rimmed by very large rocks and boulders, which can cause damage to tires and body with tail swing. The only sites that can accommodate a 5th wheel longer than 40 ft are in row I. Other than that, the campground is clean, well manicured.

Tim and Jennifer are awesome! They are very considerate hosts, who are always pleasant to deal with. The campground is kept clean and filled with beautiful views. The bathrooms are outdated, but are kept very clean! This is now our favorite KOA. Thank you Tim and Jennifer!

Still new and developing, but the site we had N5 would have been very difficult if not impossible to have pulled out of if the two site just in front of us were occupied. Our unit is a 31 ft. 5th wheel, our overall length is 41 feet. With teh trees and boulders it would be very chalenging to get out. Other than that, the new KOA looks like it's going to be a winner for outdoor activities.

This was up at the Mt not far from the KOA. The KOA had great sites for RV and tent. The staff was very kind.
