This is one of the best KOA's we have stayed at. The grounds are very clean and beautiful. The staff is very friendly and professional and always willing to help. There are new activities that are really fun such a crab feed and the chili cook off. We usually visit this campground 2 to 3 times a year and every time it is great! Thank you the Wood family for making great memories happen.

I enjoyed our site A-10 and stayed in the Past on A-12 i believe. I enjoy a little more privately since i go camping to relax since i have a full time job and caregiver after work. I travel with my 2 young dogs and its nice to have a private small site to keep them calm. I enjoy visiting the animals at the campground also. The workers are very friendly also which is a big plus.

This was our third time staying at the Petaluma KOA. Very nice front counter staff working the registration office. We were also greeted by a very nice ground service team member while we were setting up letting us know he’s here to assist with any questions or delivery of firewood. There are a lot of nearby places to go to (wineries, ocean, shopping outlets, etc. We’ll definitely be back!

We have been "KOA members" for many years and this trip was to honor my Grandson's graduation. My daughter's family and we paid extra dollars to have adjoining PREMIUM sites. We told them we had a 40' coach with 4 slides and towing a vehicle. We were assigned site 161 (the worst site in the park) which does NOT qualify as a premium spot. My daughter offered to swap sites. We felt cheated.

Very nice KoA. Friendly staff. Great activities for families. Beautifully maintained campground! However, site 161 is NOT premium. It’s a parking spot next to the bathroom. Also, the sewer connection is uphill, so draining black and gray tanks is problematic. Other sites are significantly better.

I was surprised by how clean and well maintained everything was. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the campground's landscaping included a lot of pollinator friendly plants. The nightly delivery of firewood was so appreciated. I loved hearing the owls, robins and other birds, and I even saw a beautiful fox pass through. A beautiful, surprising experience. Thank you.

We liked your campground but the open space was on such a slant that the picnic table was not usable. We were switched to E55 after declining our original space because it didn't have sewer at the site. We wish we had viewed E55. We would still recommend to a family member but would suggest seeing the space first. You have a lot of nice spaces with patio and fire pit. Wish we had one!

Facility was very clean and staff were really friendly. Sites were spacious and quiet. Lots of things to do for kids. Close to city and in the heart of wine country. Hidden gem! My family will definitely be back!

Spaces are narrow and narrow roads inside. Check in was great, friendly and helpful. Satellite dish in a few sites.

Monday to Thursday was 5 star. Quiet, clean campground with nice amenities and friendly staff. On Friday and Saturday it was a one star, it turned into a daycare/unsupervised summer camp. Entitled and disrespectful Kids running through our camp site screaming all day starting at 7:00 am. Having water gun fights in our campsite, our campsite was covered in nerf bullets. We left a day early

Cashless is a pain when you have to download two apps abd the internet connection is poor. This made using the Cashless laundry impossible. Site itself was spacious and nice. Petting zoo consisted of a few cute goats but a bit iffy for care as one Goat was messy from diarrhea, and although rubber mats are good for their joints it looked shabby and unnatural. This place is the best!!! I have absolutely no idea why some people rated it as a 3. It is a top notch resort. Everything advertised is correct. It’s large, has big spaces for your rig, very clean and tons of amenities. We loved it.

I had my favorite site, read a book sitting at pool side in the sun! Say new faces working for the summer and familiar faces of the workers. I will be back again. I already have reservations for Thanksgiving!

Large property but feels much smaller. Love having my tanks emptied by staff since our patio site had no sewer hook up, nice touch. Hayrides for the kiddies is very cute. I would definitely stay again.

enjoyed our stay, the staff was very helpful. the grounds people, store clerks, cleaning staff. all did a great job. the only low point is your sewer system, the pads where we park our r.v. are lower than your sewer hook up .

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived in early May. The campsites were roomy, well kept, and the landscaping provided some privacy and beauty since all of the bushes and flowers were in bloom. The location is a great hub for visiting Bodega Bay, Tomales Bay and the wine country. The pool is large and there are lots of accommodations for Kids. Trees provide shade at most of the sites.

Beautiful and clean campground. I appreciate the cleanliness and friendly staff. My wife and I stayed at the campground to visit the wineries in Napa. It was about one hour to most of the Napa wineries. 8-10 minutes to downtown Petaluma, which we loved. A lot of good restaurants and overall a nice place to visit. We willl come back for sure! Thank you!

we liked the campground and facilities but the keycode for the bathroom felt unwelcoming and extremely annoying. I don't understand why it is necessary since you have to check in and get through the gate code. Bathroom keycodes are for santa cruz where homeless people are making a mess in the bathroom.

The campground is nice but be aware that if you need to do laundry there, you are forced to sign up for an app on your phone in order to use their machines that do not accept credit cards or coins. My husband and I have traveled all over the country and this is the first time we have encountered this. We didn't want to have to acquired an unwanted app on our phones and the instructions for acquiring it aren't easy. So we had to haul our laundry to a local laundromat and as we were leaving we saw other guests taking their laundry back after they left too. I complained nicely to a staff member who didn't seem to care. Having said that the campground is nice, surrounded by pine trees and redwoods. It's real advantage is being near the ferry boats going over to San Francisco. Be aware, while there is a local train going to the ferry, where it lets you off is three quarters to a mile walk to the ferry. In rain it would be very unpleasant and no one tells you how far the walk is. It is better to drive your car to the ferry and pay the $2 on the digital parking meter. We took the train once and drove three other times. Other than that, the campground is in a nice setting and near wine country too.

We went for a wine country weekend. It's the perfect location. Right between Sonoma and Santa Rosa. We stayed in a lodge. It was very nice. The pool was great. It was fun to see everyone having so much fun. The customer service was very friendly. I will go back.

We booked last minute and we're totally happy with our first KOA experience. The office staff and groundskeepers are out of this world friendly. My husband and I were traveling without the kiddo or the dogs, but if you have young kids with you, this is the place to stay! SO MANY kids and they're all running around playing and riding bikes/scooters. If little kid laughter bugs you, then be advised. There's a dog park, a petting zoo and the office has beer, wine 😉 and souvenirs. My only comment would be that laundry is not available 24/7 - only until 6 pm (even though it's behind closed doors) and that quiet hours last until 8 am (would've preferred 7 am since we had our motorcycle).
