So friendly and overall cleanliness is bar none! Beautiful park like setting with sites feeling spacious and yet shrubs throughout for feeling some privacy while on your site.

Bill and Joan are the perfect hosts. They, and the staff, are both friendly and professional. The campground is very well maintained - the washrooms, showers etc are very clean. The parameters and schedules for a pleasant stay are well laid out - reading and following them allows everyone to have a most enjoyable experience at this terrific KOA. We highly recommend this park.

Beautiful weekend, quiet campground, gorgeous Fall colours in the park, staff friendly and accommodating. Areas clean, and well prepped. Wish we could have stayed longer. But we'll return next year.

The fact that we were put on a site that wouldn't fit our rig and truck. When we gave the true measurements. And that our one wheel was turned onto a bit of grass one time and told we need to drop our tailgate and back under. When others were completely on the grass and not told to move. I thought was a bit overboard.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Guest's 36' unit was parked on a site that is 65' in length. Guests need to leave room for their tow vehicle when parking and disconnecting, rather than parking in the centre of the site.

Campground is well taken care of. Dog agility park is great for my dogs. Friendly staff and excellent service. Best campground we have ever been to.

Traveling on the Lake Superior Circle Tour. Great accommodations for our purpose. Although we have no children with us on this trip, very kid friendly park.

Very nice park, well maintained. We were Just spending one night, travelling thru, so hoping not to have to disconnect our tow vehicle, but they put us on pull thru lot that was too short, even though longer pull thru sites were empty. Oh well...

All 50 amp spots were booked that night. This site was 65' in length.

As newb's to the RV world, we were grateful for a kind staff. A clean and well kept campground. A environment that almost caters to any dog, & Cali Alley Cat. That is important to us. Great shopping near by. We stayed 2 weeks, used laundry facility, again clean and everything worked. Owners and staff are 1st class. We had a great stay and will be back. Thank you. Beautiful Campground close to everything but very quiet. The grounds are nice...I see people working all the time. The washrooms very clean, nice showers and everything you need. I like that they escort you to your site. Highly recommend this campground.

Very nice park. Lots of trees between some of the sites for privacy, Quiet after 10 so we were well rested for the next days drive.

What a gem!!! We booked 3 nights on a deluxe campsite with patio, bbq, and outdoor patio set & swing (pull through with 50amp/water/sewer. The site was a good size. The park has lots of amenities including a RV wash, miniature golf and a dog agility course to name a few. The fall colours were well underway. We will recommend this campground to friends and family. Can’t wait to go back!!

This is a great park. Of the highway and very quiet. The after hours check-in was great. With clear directions to our campsite. We stayed 2 nights. The only bad thing we found was wen I asked to use the big fenced in dog area. To throw a ball for my dog so he could get some exercise. After being cooped up in our vehicle. I was told that that area was for Agility dogs only. So no exercise.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

There are two fully-fenced off-lead dog parks available for everyone to use. Kamp K-9 has small agility obstacles, and Rover's Run is a large area for dogs to run around. The agility area is separate, and is for dogs/handlers familiar with the equipment; we don't want anyone getting hurt.

It is a very nice campground but a couple things. We were in site 17 pull thru. Very very narrow, maybe 8 ft fm our pad to the next, with the next site's sewer hookup in the middle (4') so it was right outside our door. Then the guy on that site didn't use a sewer cap (not campground fault). If you have a dog there is really no room to tie them up. Leaves were gorgeous when there (end of Sept).

Beautiful KOA, nicest campground we have stayed at. The staff was very warm and welcoming. We are mountain bikers and this campground is very close to Hiawatha Highlands Mountain bike park. Perfect for us.

Great stay, site cost was reasonable, however, fire wood purchased was extremely expensive and cut very small and was softwood. To enjoy a fire nightly you need 3 orders per night which cost about $35.00 per night! Staff was great and sites were maintained very well.

Wow, the washrooms were one of the cleanest public washrooms we have been in. Our stay was very pleasant and the other campers using this facility were super friendly. It is obvious that the owners are pet lovers, as we are, so we thank you so much for that atmosphere. (Our only small complaint would be the very dusty driveway, something to settle the dust is suggested) Very good stay here.

The only thing is I wish they would open earlier and stay open long. They are 9-6. Why not 8-8. They missed a sale on items in the store because of it.

At this time of the year, we are open 9-6, as most campers have arrived by that time of day. Hours vary throughout the season, and are adjusted accordingly. In our busier times, we are open 8 am to 9 pm.

A very nice, clean, well-laid-out campground, with many interesting activities for kids and pets (dogs). The bathrooms are very well maintained with some of the best showers I've seen in a campground (though there isn't very many, so I imagine if it's busy there could be line-ups. Don't be surprised like I was if you hear a woman's voice in the men's ... they've got the radio playing in there! LOL I checked in after hours, so I didn't meet the owners, but he seemed very personable on the phone, ensured I could get out of the chill and back in my camper before having to finish all the paperwork (very considerate) and wasn't even upset that I'd interuppted his dinner (I offered to wait, he insisted on helping me right away!) I chose a site with power and water, but without sewer (I didn't need it) ... the power was stable, the water pressure excellent. The wifi is free, and they say it's not guaranteed, but I had an excellent signal with a 1/3 full campground (again, if it were a busy weekend, your results may vary) All in all, a highly recommended place to stay for a quite reasonable rate for everything you potentially have access to (I had neither pets nor children with me)

man spürt, dem Betreiber liegt der Betrieb am Herzen; dto. den 2 Angestellten, mit denen wir uns unterhielten. äußerst gepflegter Platz; vollständig ausgestattet; toller Spielplatz; alles sehr hochwertig umd sehr sauber; sehr empfehlenswert … zu Hause werde ich mal ein Bit probieren und auf das Team anstoßen 😀

I would give this KOA a 5* it has everything you need including a doggie play area, everything is so clean & tidy Just a heads up though the pool is under construction, so double check if open if that's your thing.
