We stay here on our way up the East Coast. It’s a good stopping point for us and we have some restaurants that we like in Richmond Hill. They are very welcoming and accommodating at this KOA. I would not call it big rig friendly though.

Cute cabin right on the lake, the swans were beautiful and came right up to the shore to see us. The cabin was clean and bug free. Bathrooms and showers were impeccable but they are only located at the very front. Woud be nice to have at least restrooms in another area.I do wish the KOA would set aside 1 or 2 deluxe cabins to allow pets, I would have rented one of those. Otherwise beautiful night!

Site 19 was terrible for a bigger rig even other campers said so when we were parking. Big rocks and gravel and very uneven. Was told if we didn't like it we could leave and get a refund. Prior camper dumped cat food in the site. Wouldn't stay again.

We were passing thru the area for one overnight and had never camped at a KOA, well we certainly weren’t disappointed!!! Beautifully kept grounds and facilities…we will definitely be return guests … Highly recommended �

Satisfied aways, we're snow birds and stay twice a year, going to FL in Jan leaving in April. This year our camper needed repairs changing our return date. Contacted the office regarding changes, no sites available. They were extremely helpful, and secured us an overflow site, and a credit. Very grateful to all the ladies in the office, they are always friendly, and helpful. Thank you again.

Camp sites too close together. And the swans were very aggressive and would not leave our site. Hissing and running at us. I have a toy poodle and yes I kept him on a leash and had to put him inside my car due to the swans would not stop chasing him. They were a huge nuisance.

Had a great stay. Hope in the future we’ll be able to rent a kamping kabin that has a bathroom and kitchenette with the dog. We’ll be back.

Quick overnight stay, arrived after hours and everything we needed was available. Wood was delivered, hookups were in great shape and the lighting on the pedestals was a nice feature.

Our site 62 was fantastic. Probably one of our best ever. Not all sites were like ours as we were in the deluxe. Well worth the extra! People very very helpful and friendly!

For the most part, our stay at Savannah South KOA was pleasant and enjoyable. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. Our site was situated a bit far from the only bathhouse facility.

Friendly staff. Roads are not in great shape. Our site had a light pole that shined right in my eyes in bed so I had to close the curtain which wasn’t ideal since we needed the breeze. A lot of traffic at 5:00 in the morning when home owners behind the park were going to work. Only one restroom/shower house is at the front of the park behind the office.

We have stayed many times for both short and long stays. This was a short one. Perfectly level site with fabulous lake view was just what we needed for our overnight rest stop. Don is a wonderful backing guide. I hit nothing.

Right off interstate, I would say this is a great overnight stay as you are on your way somewhere. In the back where the cabins are it is very pretty, but where they place the campers are right up on top of each other and it was very muddy/water puddles everywhere when we were there.

In our 35 years is traveling we've stayed at many, many KOA's and they have always been hit or miss for us. This one however is a hit. Well organized, clean, friendly and conveniently located. Best of all it was easy to get into and out of with our VERY long rig. We always stress how long we are and have still had issues with being put in spots we never should be in. But here they listened and gave us a nice long and roomy site. They have a week stocked store/office, a pool, game room, big lake, cabins and more. Our utilities were well placed and steady. All in all we'd be happy to stop there again.
