Nice spot, great facilities and really great receiving staff in the office. Our first experience with KOA, would stay with them or an affiliate again.

My only suggestion is to limit visitors for the Labor Day “Halloween” weekend. Not enough room at the pool area to enjoy. People pushing through to get to the hay ride. We already booked for 2024 so we will return. Thank you to all of the staff for the hard work. The BBQ, pancake breakfast and foam party was enjoyed by all.

Amazing long weekend with plenty of activities for the kids. Sites are always clean and well maintained. Staff are super receptive to any questions or needs of the campers.

We had a great time. We stayed in the Deluxe cabin. It was clean and cute and comfortable and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The campground activities were so much fun and the hosts were friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back.

We love our lot 148. Great location, nice to see the pond and the trees. Only thing is there is a lot of dust on the roads. Dust gets in the trailers, dogs get all dusty and our shoes…so some road maintenance would be nice. The parks is spotless even after a super busy weekend. You guys do an awesome job at being the cleanest campground we have ever seen. �

We had the absolute BEST month at the Thunder Bay KOA. Our son is 3, and I don’t think he could have had a better time. There’s so much to do for kids, families, couples, friends, solo-travellers, etc. Extremely clean, well maintained, and safe. The events they held were so fun! There was always something to do! We’re already excited to stay in 2024!! Thank you Kristie, Mike, and the KOA tea

We had an amazing stay! We were in the upper tent sites. There were some unruly campers who were pretty loud into the wee hours that kept us up which was unfortunate. But the campsite was amazing, staff weee incredible! An overall great stay!

Our family had a great time at KOA Thunder Bay, the staff was friendly, the park was clean and well maintained. The weekend was full of great activities for the whole family! Can't wait to go back next year �

It was a busy but great campground. Quiet time was respected after 11:00 Pm . We had a great sleep. We had to get up and on the road early. I wish we could have stayed longer.

So many activities for the kids, and all ages really. Fun atmosphere. Laid back, but still a safe and respectful environment for families. We went Halloween weekend (Labour Day weekend) and it was awesome to see the decorated sites and all the kids out trick or treating and all the adults into the fun too.

Great location, lots of option for sites and activities. Laundry and bathhouses are very nice. Our fire ring was very small and deep, no ventilation to have a fire. Other than that, great place for a base camp.

The cabin was immaculate and the property was so clean and quiet. The facilities were well maintained and the water park was so much fun! We enjoyed the BBQ provided and the firepit for s'mores! While it rained on and off, it didn't stop us from enjoying our vacation and look forward to our return!

Just spent a couple of nights. Worked well for us. One camper did have loud music till 9:30 or so. Everyone didn’t need to hear it.

First! The staff at KOA has been extraordinarily help for years and years. This must be why there are number of regulars that begin and end the season there. Their office area has a plentiful display of all things you need for your RV. Things break and go missing, but KOA in Thunder Bay most likely has it right there. It seems to me that they listen to the problems people might have, and be sure to deal with that. As both Mike and Kristi have been residents of Thunder Bay since forever and can make recommendations should you have an questions that go beyond the ordinary google searches. There are two ways into town from their location, and there is some nightclub activity less than ten minutes away. There is a small mall across from the Tavern, and there are groceries of ll type. You do not have to travel far. Another five minutes away puts you into the heart of Thunder Bay North, or Port Arthur, the ancient name. Again, more night life and a number of very good restaurants. It is amazing how you can so quickly go from an idyllic camping site to a nice urban centre. The route along our "expressway" has you anywhere nearby in very quick order. This site is run by awesome people, who work with a very friendly and efficient staff who can make your stay a worry free event. The site is well looked after, and you can see that immediately when turning the first bend in the road. I would heartily suggest that you make your trip to KOA a reality.

Another great KOA stayed 2 nights beside the fishing pond even managed to cast a line! Very nice setting. Lots for the hole family games fixing driving range parks dog parks etc. bathrooms are clean and modern with private showers. Very nice 👍🏼 the driveway is long and absolutely wrecked, drive slow coming in or you will shake everything in your rig loose. Also right beside the highway so it can get loud. The front desk woman was not happy that I criticized the driveway…
