What is KOA Rewards?

KOA Rewards is KOA’s loyalty program. Renewable on an annual basis, it includes three key features:

• Savings - 10%* off the daily registration rate at all KOAs across North America. Also, enjoy exclusive discounts and offers from our partners on goods and services.
• Points & Rewards - Earn points that turn into dollars off future stays! Learn more about using KOA Rewards points.
• Recognition - Take advantage of your KOA account to save your camping preferences, view your upcoming and past reservations, view your current points and rewards that are available, use exclusive partner offers, and more. If you haven’t already, register for a KOA Account for access.

Any accounts purchased or renewed prior to 02/21/2023, remain on the (Legacy) KOA Rewards program. The next time the account is renewed, it will be automatically transferred over to the new KOA Rewards program.

What has changed after Feb 21st 2023? I am already enrolled in KOA Rewards.

In March of 2021, the program’s name was changed from Value Kard Rewards to KOA Rewards. At that time, the program itself did not change. As of 02/21/2023, all new KOA Rewards account purchases will be on the new KOA Rewards Program, as indicated by the Terms and Conditions. Accounts that are expiring, upon renewal, will become part of the new program. The changes to note are:

• New Terms and Conditions for KOA Rewards
• New Point and Tier Structure. Learn more about KOA Rewards points.
• Guest can now use available KOA Rewards points online when making a reservation, and those points will be applied upon check-in. Learn more about using rewards points online.

What happens if I decline the new Terms and Conditions?

If the new Terms and Conditions are declined, you will not be able to renew your account. If you change your mind, the KOA Camper Experience Team can assist you in reversing your answer. Give them a call at 1-888-562-0000 Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm MTN or send an email to [email protected] (if it is after hours) and a representative will reach back out to you.

Why do I have to wait until my expiration date to switch to the new KOA Rewards Program launched Feb 21st, 2023?

KOA Rewards, previously Value Kard Rewards, is an annual program. Because of this, we are unable to do partial refunds or switch KOA Rewards programs mid-year.

What if I decide to buy a new account? Can my old and new accounts be combined?

You are welcome to purchase a new account under the new Terms and Conditions. However, doing so may result in a loss of your camping history and available points, and you would lose any remaining months on the old account as they cannot be transferred over.
