KOA policy regarding display of Confederate battle flag

Kampgrounds of America, Inc. is dedicated to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all of its guests, franchisees and employees.

Symbols that are intended to - or have the effect of - harassing, demeaning, intimidating or disparaging any legally protected minority run counter to that goal and are in conflict with the values of our organization.

Therefore, Kampgrounds of America, Inc. bans the display of the Confederate battle flag symbol by KOA owners, staff, campers and any other members of the public and prohibits the sale of the Confederate flag symbol on all properties either owned, operated, or franchised by Kampgrounds of America, Inc.

Guests or members of the public found to be in violation of this policy will be immediately asked to remove or cover the Confederate battle flag symbol. If they fail to do so, they will be asked to vacate the property.
