Flagstaff KOAOpen all year Set at 7,000 feet under the cool shade of ponderosa pines, bordering the Coconino National Forest and on historic Route 66, this KOA is a hub for exploring the Grand Canyon, Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument and other attractions. In the summer, ride the nearby Skyride up to 11,500 feet for a view of the Grand Canyon area and the city. Set out on hiking trails from your campsite or go for a spin on KOA's banana bikes! Venture east, where a paved walkway leads into Walnut Canyon and its ancient cliff dwellings. Drive among Oak Creek Canyon's multihued cliffs, then browse the shops of Sedona. Flagstaff's Northern Arizona Museum features local geology and native cultures. Shop and dine in historic downtown Flagstaff. KOA's staff can help arrange tours to northern Arizona sites. Weekend summer events include ice cream socials, all-you-can-eat dinners, bounce castle, live music and more! New improvements have been made to make your stay as easy and enjoyable as possible. The entire campground was repaved, the roads were widened, 30 trees and stumps were removed, and 25 more sites were upgraded to 50 amp service and cable.
