This Visalia, California area campground is located in the fields of the San Joaquin Valley just below the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Convenient camping near Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks makes this a great spot for those who plan to visit the Sierras. Located halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco, Visalia is one of the oldest cities in California. Rich in small-town charm, the retro-style downtown is fun to stroll for unique shopping, antiques and a variety of restaurants. For a break, the kids will enjoy Visalia Adventure Park, an amusement park just a few minutes from the campground. Since you're camping less than an hour from various National Parks, National Forests and Wilderness areas including Mt. Whitney, the highest mountain in the contiguous United States, and near Yosemite National Park, our location provides opportunities for wonderful day trips. The area is a paradise for hiking, sight-seeing, spectacular views, enormous Sequoia trees, lakes, rivers and streams. Crystal Cave in Sequoia National Park offers guided tours. If you enjoy the beauty and majesty of nature, give yourself plenty of time to truly enjoy these national treasures. Visalia - Fresno South KOA features grassy, shaded pull thru sites, free Wi-Fi, one and two room Camping Cabins with air-conditioning, a heated swimming pool, volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, a game room and a kids' playground. Welcome tent campers, we have large tent sites with lots of shade, fire rings, picnic tables and water. Our clean restrooms have hot showers and are not far away.
