Visit the Marshall Gold Discovery Park and pan for the shiny stuff yourself. The campground store even sells panning equipment. A vast array of day-trip options includes Sacramento, wineries, apple ranches and whitewater rafting on the American River. After a busy day, return to KOA and relax in the pool. On select weekends, adults can relax in KOA's hot tub. Kids love the petting zoo and new playground.
