It's more than just a business venture -i t's a love of camping, enthusiasm for guests and a dedication to providing unmatched service. Scott Haar, manager of the Trinity Lake KOA, has all of these qualities and more. "I decided to join KOA because people camping are more relaxed and there to have a good time. I also wanted to work in a more family oriented business. Managing the Trinity Lake KOA allows me to spend time doing what I love too - camping and being outdoors." Before coming to KOA, Scott managed the Vineyard Restaurant at the Falls Golf Course in Lake Las Vegas. He understands the importance of having positive interaction with people, and his skills and abilities were well matched to the KOA philosophy. "If you give good service, a customer will be satisfied, and might give you a referral and return business," Scott said. "If you give great service by going beyond the customer's expectations, you have built a relationship with that customer, and you have a customer and an ambassador for life," he added. While providing great guest service remains his primary focus, Scott takes pride in every aspect of the campground, from the on-site marina, outdoor movie cinema, playground, adventure mini golf, to the newly remodeled bathhouses. "I am pleased with the enhancements that have been made," said Scott. "And we plan on adding even more." In his off hours, Scott can be found singing, playing guitar, cooking, laughing, hiking, swimming, fishing and spending time with friends and his new Bassett Hound puppy, Shelby.
