Sandy and Robert Speight were looking for a change in 1988 when they found the Colorado Springs South KOA Kampground.

"We were in the construction and corporate family farming businesses," Robert said. "It was time for something else."

Now, Robert and Sandy spend their days making sure their campers have the best possible experience on their campground.

"We're the most proud of our large pull-through campsites with 50-amp service," Robert said. "And, of course, the nice playground that is always full of happy kids."

When they aren't on the campground, the Speights will be traveling themselves, enjoying fishing and their grandkids.
