Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park

A showcase for native Florida wildlife, this park offers visitors a rare opportunity to observe animals, birds and plants in their natural setting. Fascinating educational programs are offered daily on West Indian manatees, alligators, crocodiles, Florida snakes and other wildlife. A huge spring, from which millions of gallons of fresh clear water bubbles every hour, is the centerpiece of this one hundred sixty-six acre park and is the headwater of the Homosassa River. Visitors can stroll along unspoiled nature trails and see deer, bear, bobcats, otters and others at close range.

Wild Waters

Enjoy a full day of wild and wet family fun. Ride the surf in our 450,000 gallon wave pool. Take a slide on the Hurricane, Oceola’s Revenge and Silver Bullet flumes. Try out the new Tornado-if you dare! There is also Bonanza kid’s water play area, great miniature golf, a game room, volleyball court and picnic area. The fun is in the water!
