Woodbine Crawfish Festival - April 28 - 29, 2006

The Woodbine Crawfish Festival is coming! So stay with us and enjoy the food, fun and unique charm of the old Georgia south. The event is held at the Waterfront Park and along the Riverwalk in Downtown Woodbine. It includes food. music, arts and crafts, games, rides, and much more.

Fernandina Shrimp Festival - May 5-7

Historic Downtown Fernandina Beach (20 to 25 minute trip from our KOA) hosts this waterfront festival. You will never eat shrimp like this anywhere else. Everyone is cooking big, juicy, steaming hot shrimp. Add in a pirate parade, a family fun zone with games, face painting, sand art, climbing wall, superslide, trampoline fun, and live music and shows and you have an amazing weekend planned. Red Hat Summer Sizzler - June 23, 24, and 25

Please join us in St. Mary's for the Red Hat Summer Sizzler June 23rd, 24th and 25th. This unique event applaudes the strength and individuality of women everywhere! Independence Day Festival - July 4

Held on or around July 4th, celebrating our nation's independence. Festival includes: 5k/10k races, parade, food concessions, entertainment, arts & crafts booths and a spectacular fireworks display over the St. Mary's River at dusk.

Labor Day Weekend Catfish Festival - September 2nd, 3rd & 4th, 2006

Nothing goes better with crispy southern-fried catfish than a succulent serving of country music. Festival goers can feast on this and much more during Kingsland, Georgia's 23rd Annual Labor Day Weekend Catfish Festival.

This fun-filled festival is kicked-off on Saturday morning and the excitement continues through Sunday night in historic, downtown Kingsland, Georgia. Scheduled events include a parade, arts & crafts booths, southern fried and Cajun catfish, a variety of food booths, antiques and collectibles, children's amusement area, a 5K run, a 25K & 50K bicycle ride, a classic car & tractor exhibition, and the Lions Club's annual Pancake Breakfast.

Every year Kingsland's Catfish Festival features free entertainment by nationally known artists. This year's festival entertainment is being planned and attendees will be in for a treat! Previous year's headliners have included country music stars Gary Allan, Trace Adkins, Tracy Bird and Lee Ann Womack! Visit The Kingsland CVB website for more information.

Rock Shrimp Festival - Saturday, October 1st

Held on the first Saturday in October. Festival includes 5k/10k races, parade, entertainment, street dance, food concessions, arts & crafts booths and rock shrimp dinners.

Mardi Gras Festival - February 2007

Held the Saturday before Ash Wednesday.

Springing the Blues Festival - April 6-8, 2007

Celebrating its 17th year in 2007, the three-day music fest features some of the top names in blues (past performers have included Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown, Tinsely Ellis, Susan Tedeschi and the North Mississippi Allstars), along with arts and crafts vendors, kids activities and plenty of barbecue and seafood. The event is free, but premium seating tickets can be purchased for $10-$40. It is held at Jacksonville Beach, Florida's Oceanfront SeaWalk Pavilion (249-3972).
