You will never eat shrimp like this anywhere else. Everyone is cooking big, juicy, steaming hot shrimp. Independence Day FestivalHeld on or around July 4th, celebrating our nation's independence. Festival includes: 5k/10k races, parade, food concessions, entertainment, arts & crafts booths and a spectacular fireworks display over the St. Mary's River at dusk. Rock Shrimp FestivalHeld on the first Saturday in October. Festival includes 5k/10k races, parade, entertainment, street dance, food concessions, arts & crafts booths and rock shrimp dinners. Mardi Gras FestivalHeld the Saturday before Ash Wednesday. Springing the Blues FestivalThis music fest features some of the top names in blues (past performers have included Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown, Tinsely Ellis, Susan Tedeschi and the North Mississippi Allstars), along with arts and crafts vendors, kids activities and plenty of barbecue and seafood.
