Six Flags Over Georgia Theme Park

Sing along as the entire family enjoys entertaining live music at the Crystal Pistol Music Hall or The remember When Drive-In. Splash on some of the South’s wildest and wettest water adventures. Scream as you twist and turn on five of the world’s most heart-pounding roller coasters. Smile with your kids as they romp through Bugs Bunny world, a special area chock full of rides and attractions for the little thrill seekers. Soar through the skies on the parachute drop or Free Fall - the ultimate ride that’s like falling off a 10-story building. Good food and great shops as well.

The Blue and Gray Trail

A self-directed tour of northwest Georgia and Chattanooga Civil War sites. This northwest corner of Georgia, roughly from Chattanooga to the outskirts of Atlanta, is the setting for the Civil War’s most dramatic events. Your pursuit of history through the Blue and Gray Trail is bound to be rich and rewarding.

Rock City

One of America’s most visited natural attractions, Rock City began in 1932 as the garden hobby of an inspired woman. Rock City’s lush, colorful gardens and dramatic rock formations adorn Lookout Mountain like a regal crown. The adventure combines the beauty and grandeur of nature with the wide-eyed enchantment of a child’s imagination. An extraordinary place--a magical time! See Seven States. The legendary view of seven states from world-famous Lover’s Leap has drawn millions of visitors from all over the globe.

Ruby Falls

Ruby Falls is several extraordinary adventures rolled into one. “The Jewel of Lookout Mountain” is the amazing Ruby Falls. The 145 foot flowing waterfall is located over 1,100 feet inside Lookout Mountain. The breathtaking Lookout Mountain Caverns, adorned with beautiful calcite formations, will fascinate you. Lookout Mountain Tower offers panoramic views of Chattanooga and the Tennessee Valley. Fun Forest is romping, stomping fun for children. Scenic guided tours leave every few minutes and take approximately one hour.

Underground Atlanta

There’s so much to see and do, both above and below ground, a visit to the 12-acre complex is sure to bring out the “kid” in you. Casual and fine dining abound at popular restaurants and bars. Enjoy street performers and hear live music everywhere. Club hot spots, also. “City Under the Streets” was formed when viaducts elevated Atlanta’s downtown streets and businesses in the 1920’s. Covering over six city blocks, Underground is replete with historical architecture--original and restored--right down to the brick pavement. Many interesting tours are available as well as an overabundance of shopping.
