Georgia Veteran's State Park

Georgia Veterans features a museum, housing artifacts dating from the Civil War through Desert Storm. There are also exhibits of military armament & aircraft adjacent to the museum. The Visitor's Center is named for Gen. Courtney Hicks, Hodges while the Museum itself is dedicated to the crew of "The Dark Slide", the B-29 Super Fortress located on the park.
