For Cory and Tiffany Unsworth, however, it was love at first sleep. "We knew we were in love with the campground on the night we were able to fall asleep to the sound of the river," Tiffany laughs. A former city recreation director, Cory understood how to bring people together to enjoy fun in the great outdoors, but had never considered building a business based on it. That is until some good friends convinced them to take the plunge. "We've known campground ownership was right for us ever since," he says. Cory, Tiffany and their young family enjoy spending time together and with extended family playing games, engaging in outdoor activities, reading and eating their favorite treat-ice cream. It comes as no surprise, then, that they also focus on family-friendly fun for their guests. "We are all about fostering family unity for our kampers," says Tiffany. "If families go away having made great memories, then we feel that we have done our job." According to Cory, that job includes constantly working to improve their accommodations and their service offerings to keep guests coming back.
