Chicago Northwest KOAMeet Your Hosts Ernie and Sharon Teague, owners of the Chicago Northwest KOA in Illinois, bring a touch of southern hospitality to their campground, and have even been known to say "y'all" on a regular basis. After moving to Illinois from the south, Ernie, who formerly owned an insurance agency, and Sharon, who was a National Account Representative with a food brokerage firm, decided to purchase their second campground in September 2003 because of their desire to own a seasonal campground. "Our customer service philosophy is to insure, to the best of our ability, a safe and enjoyable camping experience for our guests-hopefully filled with good memories," says Ernie. Ernie and Sharon are especially proud of the fact that their facility offers two distinct and different camping sections. "One provides a variety of RV sites," says Sharon, "and the other accommodates the tent camper. We are the only camping facility in the area to provide tent camping in a full service campground." When they're not working on the campground, Ernie and Sharon can be found playing golf, traveling, and most of all, spending time with their grandchildren and family. Come meet The Teague Family. |
