View the new Lincoln Library and Museum. Pay your respects at Lincoln's Tomb. Visit the New Salem State Historic Site. Here, costumed guides re-create the 1830s town where the future president lived and worked. Southeast of the city, this KOA offers a quiet country setting with covered tent sites, level pull thrus, mini golf and nearby camper rentals. Head to Lake Springfield for swimming, boating and fishing. Nostalgia buffs: Don't leave without getting your kicks on Route 66, where you'll find a museum, shops, motorcycle races, antique car rallies and a drive-in diner. Free Wi-Fi too!
