It's May!
Let's celebrate May! We will have our first "Hey" ride and Ice Cream Social of the season. We will host a campfire on Saturday night with music and roasted marshmallows. Sunday afternoon will be a pot luck dinner to make new friends and catch up with old ones!

"Come Camp and Care With Us" Weekend
Mother's Day
Join us for "Come Camp And Care With Us" weekend. Those staying Friday night get Saturday night for free! Moms can have a relaxing Mother's Day weekend. Kids and Moms can make a fun craft and all can enjoy Bingo. We will do the cooking for you at our pancake breakfast on Sunday and Moms eat free!

NASCAR Weekend
Start Your Engines! Celebrate NASCAR racing with us this weekend. Decorate your site with your favorite drivers colors and number - prizes will be awarded to the best decorated sites. When things have slowed down, relax with us on the "Hey" rack ride and enjoy some ice cream! Catch the "Sprint Showdown and All-Star Race" from Lowe's Motor Speedway in surround sound on our big screen TV.

Memorial Day Weekend
Come join us as we celebrate Memorial Day. We will celebrate the start of the Summer season by having pool games, bingo, group campfire, ice cream, pancake breakfast and much more! Show your spirit by decorating your site in red, white, and blue! Karaoke on Sunday night is sure to be lots of fun. Join us in the morning for Memorial Day for a special service.

Western Weekend
It's Western Weekend and to celebrate, we will be having a steak fry supper! We will also have crazy rodeo games, a "Hey" ride, ice cream social and more! Y'all just mosey on out to see us for some real western fun!

End of School Fling
The end of the school year is here. Kids bring your report cards in to receive a free slushie! We will celebrate the start of summer vacation with a bonfire and wiener roast. Enjoy our "Hey" ride, ice cream social and more!

Mardi Gras Weekend
Come join us for a Mardi Gras party! Make festive hats, crowns and streamers at craft time. Then join us for a stuffed animal parade and kids games. We will finish up our party on Saturday night with an ice cream social and "Hey" ride. On Sunday morning, it wouldn't be Mardi Gras without coffee and biegnets!

Father's Day Weekend
Welcome Dads! Join us for a special "Man Craft" led by our resident dad. Dad's play bingo with your kids and Dad's eat free at our pancake breakfast on Sunday! Relax and enjoy your special day with us.

Hawaiian Luau
Aloha! We are inviting you to celebrate the tropical spirit with us this weekend. Have fun doing crafts, playing pool games or relaxing by the poolside. We'll host our 3rd Annual Pig Roast Luau on Saturday night. When that is done, join us for dessert at our ice cream social.

4th of July Weekend
Show your patriotic spirit by decorating your site in red, white, and blue. There will be pool games for kids, bingo for adults, and an ice cream social followed by a patriotic "Hey" ride for all to enjoy! Join us on Sunday for our pancake breakfast.
July 10-12
Christmas in July
Ho, Ho, Ho, it's Christmas in July! You can make Christmas ornaments with us at craft time, help us decorate the Christmas tree, and sing Christmas carols on the "Hey" ride. Bring a white elephant gift to adult bingo and have some fun! We will also have an ice cream social and prizes for best decorated site! Relax on Sunday morning and join us for a french toast breakfast s'il vous plaît . We do the cooking, you do the eating!
July 17-19
Music, Music, Music
Music, Music, Music! Get your toes tapping and dance the night away to our favorite live band "Full Cycle". Come join us for a craft to make music makers. Join us Sunday afternoon for a pot luck dinner.
July 25-27
Waterworks Weekend
It's the middle of summer and time for a beach party! Come join us for fun in the sun with a beach atmosphere. We'll play water and beach games. The kids will get to make sand castles and get soaking wet on our "Wet Hey Ride". Also enjoy a "Burgers and Dogs" cookout for Saturday dinner followed by our ice cream social and "Hey" ride.
July 31-August 2
Games, Games, & more Games
Come join us this weekend for games, games & more games! We will have Franks Pranks here to lead our 3rd Annual Bean Bag Tournament. When the games wind down and bragging rights have been established, join us for a singing 'Hey' ride and ice cream social. It's sure to be fun for the whole family. On Sunday morning, let us do the cooking and join us for a pancake breakfast.

Corn Boil Weekend
It's our annual "Sweet" Corn Boil weekend. We have scheduled a weekend full of fun including crafts and pool games for kids. We then cook up some wonderful local brats and boil that delicious sweet corn from our local farmers. Don't miss out on the fun and good eats. This event is always a crowd favorite!

Fiesta Weekend
Summer is heating up and so is the FUN! Join us for a Fiesta Saturday evening including a taco bar and pinata party. Kids of all ages can do festive crafts and play Fiesta Bingo with chips and salsa! We'll also have our "Hey" ride and ice cream social.

Wine and Cheese Weekend
Take the time to kick back and enjoy some of our favorite local wines. We will have a wine and cheese tasting, highlighting our local favorites. As always we will have activities and crafts for kids of all ages. Join us for our ice cream social and "Hey" ride on Saturday evening.

Mystery Whodunit
Come help us "crack the case" at our first ever Mystery Whodunit Dinner Party on Saturday night. During the day we will have crafts, games and a mystery scavenger hunt for the kids as well as our Saturday evening ice cream social and "Hey" ride.
September 4-7
Labor Day Weekend
It's our annual Labor Day Carnival event to benefit KOA Care Camps. This weekend is packed full of fun activities for everyone in the family to enjoy. We will have crafts, kids games, adult bingo, "Hey" ride and ice cream social (and that is just Saturday). On Sunday, enjoy our pancake breakfast before the big event - the Care Camps Carnival and Raffle. Not only is this weekend fun, but our carnival and raffle proceeds go to help send kids with cancer to camp!
September 11-13
Lena Fall Festival
There is a festival in downtown Lena and we would love you to come join in the fun with us. Everyone is invited to help us decorate the KOA wagon and come into town to participate in the parade with us! In the evening, we will enjoy an ice cream social, "Hey" ride and group campfire.

Customer Appreciation Weekend
We would like to say thanks to all of you who have camped with us this year. Anyone who has stayed with us for 2 or more nights during the 2009 season will receive one free night with a minimum two night stay. We are also hosting our first ever "Chili Cook Off". Contestants bring a crock pot of your favorite chili to share. Our team of judges will determine what's "Hot" and what's "Not". Prizes will be awarded.

Helping Others, Giving Back and Stone Soup
Let's take some time to give back to others and have some fun together! Kids will do crafts made from recycled items to help our environment. Adults will have craft time too, a project benefiting a local charity. On Saturday evening we will have our famous "Stone Soup" dinner. Everyone contributes something to the big pot, then we all enjoy a community meal together.

Halloween Celebration
Come celebrate Halloween with us early! This is our "trick-or-treating" weekend. Kids, bring your costumes! Adults bring candy for the kiddies if you would like to participate (optional of course). We will be doing crafts, decorating pumpkins and having a group campfire with hot chocolate. Also, don't forget about the "Haunted Barn" and other area attractions this time of year. It will be great fun!

Oktoberfest - Columbus Day Weekend
Columbus Day weekend is one of the most event filled times of the year in this area. Enjoy local craft shows and festivals or relax at your campsite. We have many activities this weekend as well. We will have an Oktoberfest celebration complete with brats, beer, & singing (karaoke style). We will be doing crafts, a "Hey" ride and an ice cream social. On Sunday, join us for a pancake breakfast and a sing-a-long campfire in the evening.
October 16-18
Fall in the Country
Come join us for the beautiful fall colors. Enjoy a "Hey" ride and group campfire with hot chocolate and marshmallows. During the day, join us for crafts and pumpkin carving. Also, don’t forget about the many local area haunted activities!

October Spooks and Spirits
Camping season is almost over, but there is still a lot of fun to be had. We will be doing crafts, decorating pumpkins and having a group campfire with hot chocolate and roasted marshmallows. Also, don't forget about the "Haunted Barn" and other area haunted attractions. It will be great fun!
October 30-November 1
Last Weekend of the Season
This is it! It's our last weekend of the 2009 camping season! We will be doing crafts, decorating pumpkins, and having a group campfire with hot chocolate, hot apple cider and roasted marshmallows. Don't forget to wear your costume to the campfire, as we will be telling some Halloween stories. You can also participate in many area activities.... some of them rumored to be haunted!
