Lena KOAMeet Your Hosts The opportunity for Joe and Diane Long came at the "right time - right place" when they purchased the Lena KOA campground in 2006. Joe and Diane always talked about owning a campground and were looking for a campground for several years. Joe was an administrator for a suburban park and recreation district and Diane was a practice manager for a very large software company. When they began looking for a campground to purchase, they had not planned on owning the Lena KOA. "The Lena KOA had long been a family favorite for us, along with our daughters Alexandra and Kale," says Diane. When the opportunity presented itself, they snatched it up. Joe and Diane take pride in the campground cleanliness, the family-oriented nature of their KOA, and in keeping people happy. "Happy Customers make our business," said Joe. "This is the kind of campground we want our campers to feel is worth making it back to again and again." The returning campers attest to their excellent customer service. The Long family treat campers as they would like to be treated, offering a listening ear when they arrive. In their spare time, Joe enjoys music and sports, while Diane dabbles into sewing, quilting and embroidery work. Alexandra and Kaley enjoy the campground atmosphere and its recreational activities. They believe that the Lena KOA is a great place for kids to make friends. Alexandra and Kaley both enjoy music and Kaley is active in many sports. Their campground was honored with the KOA President's Award in 2006. It is nestled in the northwest corner of Illinois and a campground loaded with fun family activities. Come meet The Long Family. |
