Located in Wichita, KS. Open April through December -- Mondays thru Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays and Holidays 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. January through March -- Mondays thru Fridays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and closed weekends and holidays (closed Thanksgiving weekend, Christmas and New Year’s Day).

Open 364 days a year. Hours are Summer: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Winter: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Zoo in Topeka

Open every day of the year except Christmas Day. Admission gate open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with grounds and exhibits remaining open until 6 p.m. Between Memorial Day and Labor Day extended gate, grounds and exhibit hours. Exhibits include: New -- Hill’s Black Bear Woods and Pachyderm Yard, Tropical Rain Forest, Discovering Apes, Lions Pride and Security Benefit Children’s Zoo.
