Poker Run
Lots and lots of fun when you camp at Russell Springs KOA for the annual Poker Run being held on beautiful Lake Cumberland, less than a mile from our campground. It is held on September 11th-13th, 2009. Check Lake Cumberland's website for details. Call 1-800-562-5617 for reservations.

Kiwanis Easter Egg Hunt
An annual event open to the public. The main attraction is a giant Easter bunny with lots of Easter goodies.
Spring Fishing Unlimited
A tournament weekend with factory representatives, evening seminars and door prizes. Held mid-April.
Farmer's Market
Held late May to late October. Fresh fruits and vegetables displayed and sold every Tuesday and Saturday mornings.
Catch a Rainbow Kid's Fishing Derby
Held early June. A fishing event for ages 5 to 15. Have fun and good luck!
Free Fishing Weekend
Held early June. No license is required.
Spring Home Tour
Held early June.
Lakefest
An annual celebration held early July with live music, crafts, games, contests, clogging, mini-marathon and fireworks.
Russell County Fair
Held the end of July to early August.
The World's Longest Yardsale (127 Corridor Sale)
Held August 6-9, 2009
Annual Bluegrass Festival
Hosted by the Indian Hills KOA on August 21-22, 2009 and held at the KOA.
Pansy Festival
This festival includes clowns, face painting, refreshments and more. Held mid-September.
Harvest Festival
Pumpkin carving, pie baking contests, farmer's market, crafts and entertainment. Held early October.
Christmas Bazaar
Extension homemakers offer Christmas gifts, decorations, crafts and baked goods, also craft and food demonstrations conducted all day. Held late November.
