The Cheery Blossom Festival marks the celebration of the original gift of the 3,000 cherry trees from the city of Tokyo to the people of Washington, DC in 1912. Chesapeake Bay Blues Festival

Maryland Renaissance Festival

Festivals are held Saturdays and Sundays mid August through last weekend in October. A variety of food vendors, artisans and entertainers fill festival grounds located 10 miles from campground. Highlights include live jousting, sword swallowing, fire eaters and multiple running plays and skits. Discount tickets are available at the campground. Maryland Seafood Festival
