Independence Celebration...Happy Birthday USA!

Come celebrate our nations birthday by flying your American flag and wearing your patriotic colors! Dress up like UNCLE SAM or LADY LIBERTY & enter a contest. Prizes for the best-decorated sites, bikes, wagons, strollers, cats & dogs! Help us decorate our wagon along with our trolley, fire truck and be a part of our parade. Guess who's coming from Christmas City?! Who's been naughty and who's been nice?! So what if it's 100 degrees, we'll be plenty KOOL with our Winter Wonderland! Come find the yule tide log and join in the candy cane relay, frozen t-shirt contest, holiday craft, Christmas scavenger hunt, snowball fight & sledding! Come if you dare for some screams & shrieks, giggles & fun! There are some things in life you can count on...We're going to scare you! Live the nightmare! Come prepared for an outdoor Halloween Haunted Adventure. You will walk through the haunted graveyard where the DEAD are not always DEAD. See if you can make it out ALIVE! Don't let the darkness get to you as you walk through…hold on tight as you venture. Unnatural things go on in this place. Things are not quiet on the campground property during the Harvest Moon with strange events that have been occurring here as far back as when the repairman George disappeared. Be on the look out for George and his mum Bess…they'll be watching and waiting for you. They're HUNGRY…see you soooonn! KOA assumes no responsibility for your return …or your sanity.
Once again we are having a fundraiser so children with cancer will have the opportunity to attend Camp Sunshine located here in Maine for a camping experience. The Haunted House is open to the public and campers on Saturday, October 10th 7:30-10 p.m. rain or shine. $4.00 admission per person. Children must be accompanied by a adult. Their will be a fun haunted house for young children, story telling, hay wagon rides, bon-fire with free marshmallows for toasting are included.

Our 2009 rates will remain the same as our 2008 for RV & Tent sites other then on holiday weekends. Our rates still include free showers(no meters), wi-fi, cable, newspaper, pool, hot tub, wagon/fire truck/trolley rides, sport equipment, crafts, ice cream socials, entertainment, haunted house and many more activities.
